She is a wonderfull performer,even though she lost concindration at the end.
she is 7th now but 4th on the night.I realy think she could get a medal and maybe down the line be an olympic champion.

I like that she always has a smile on her face and seems to actually enjoy skating. A rarity nowdays.

I too liked her very much and thought she was a bit undermarked, especially relative to Sokolova.

Her current SP and LP are both gorgeous programs. She is always pleasant to watch on the ice. I'm glad she's made such improvement this season with 4th at Europeans and 6th at Worlds. I forget if she finished in the Top 10 at the Olympics, but if not she was very close.

I agree - the Eurosport commentators were screaming wuz robbed about sokolova in the SP saying she'd been undermarked where personally i'd have but Meier ahead of Sokolova in the SP.

Meier has made enormous strides in the last two years, improving her technical ability so that her musicality shines through.

Hockeyfan - She had been hurting for the past two years with injuries. Good to see her back to normal and let's hope she makes up for those two missing years with more and more tech.

Sarah Meier is what I think of when I think of figure skating (doing a lotta thinking there). She's light, graceful, and cheery With beautifully executed jumps (at least at this worlds that I saw).

(complete opposite of Mira Leung, but that's another story)
