True, but maybe things will be different for this season. I agree that it's better than she get silver to secure the place, but maybe another bronze will be enough. We'll see how the other GPs will go.
But I do hope Satoko will get silver at NHK (sorry, Mao remains me favourite). And if not, then a higher score.
It should be enough, but it will also depend on how the other GPs will go until NHK.

I doubt things will be different this season but who knows. Mao will definitely get higher PCS at NHK and barring a poor performance from her, I doubt Satoko will get gold even if she skates clean.

From the news report this morning: it turns out that Satoko has an important college entrance exam prior to SA, so that might have some effect on her practicing time. I'm sure she'll want to fight back at NHK.

Satoko is a lovely skater and certainly became one of my favorites among the current field. She has refinement and maturity in her skating that not a lot in the current field has.
It's sad that she doesn't get the PCS she deserves. But then again who can understand PCS these days?
