I'm liking it so far. And I love the music! I think this will be a great program for her. :yes:

I have to agree with what someone said about her dress though--she looks beautiful, but I found the sleeves kind of distracting during the performance. Maybe she'll get a new dress come competition time?

I believe so and I would like her to do something more beautiful in her hair.

I'm liking her FS so far. I just find the bombastic section kind of incongruous, but it'll probably grow on me.

Watching on youtube was much clearer so you can see the front dress detail better... so I like it better now. Still hope she changes her hair...

But watching again, I like the step sequence even better than I did the first time. I think this program is an attempt to show that she is more powerful now and has addressed those well discussed criticisms. I really like this program and look forward to seeing it live in october. Good job.

I agree with liv, it's such a shame they pulled her hair back again. She can look so much prettier with a different hairstyle! And I don't think it's wise to keep such a blinding white dress for competitions, the color would get mixed with the ice and she'd look like a blur. I think she'll change it though, every time she debuted her programs at THE ICE she ended up changing all costumes for competition.

She previously said her jumps are better now than they were last season so I screencapped her 3Lz-3T combination to see if there are any changes. The biggest deal was her 270 degrees prerotation on the toeloop. But now it looks like she's already in the air at 270 :think: We'll see later in competitions.

Everyone criticized her for having a "boring" program last season and she got the lowest PCS even if she skated clean. As soon as she came back from Worlds she said she'd do something about it.

I really enjoyed Un Sospiro, but this season's programs are a nice change of pace. Maybe she'll shut up those criticizers this time (wishful thinking?) And I've always thought Satoko was underscored in PCS.

I really love the programme already. The ssq was amazing. I see what they are going for with the white dress especially with the crossed bodice and clasps at the shoulders- Greek goddess. However, they certainly need to lose the fluttery bits at the shoulders as they are distracting and too girlish and perhaps revamp the dress to be more pronounced in its Grecian influence and maybe include a lot of silver or gold in it. And the hair needs to be fuller (maybe with some braiding or ringlets?) and threaded with metallic thread.

Satoko's new FS is awesome! It reminds me of her 2014-15 FS (which I loved) a little bit in the way it builds all the way to the end. The StSq is especially great and her jumps have improved a lot over the summer. Can't wait to see more of this program :agree:

Un Sospiro had its problems though, I thought it didn't have enough ice coverage (though she does have the skills for bigger ice coverage) and the music was getting monotonous as the season went on. It was full of beautiful details but as many have said, those beautiful details couldn't be seen all the way to the last row. Hopefully The Planets/Star Wars will shake the arenas, because the music and choreography are the most dynamic she's ever done.

Very cute. ^^ But Satton's gloves reminds me too much of Julia's washing gloves from her rainbow costume, lol!

An easy change will be the costume, which I think she'll do. There's just something about the white against the ice, and to me it just doesn't seem flattering for men or women. Also she had her hair down recently at one of the ice shows, and I thought it looked really cute.

Ok, good chances for the change of costumes for the season. Some costumes from EX are lovely, though, and could be used for competitions. Like the Miss Saigon from THE ICE 2014. The change for the competition was definitely a good idea, but this dress could be used again for other programs. But she grew up a bit since then. Not much, of course, but still enough to not be sure it would fit her again. :think:
