I would have loved for her to skate to "The Planets" this season (considering that she didn't get to use it all of last season), but I'm just thrilled that she's back! I really hope she'll skate lights out @ Skate America, Japanese nationals, and be chosen for Japan's Olympic team.

Because pineapple is her favorite fruit and the Japanese fans love making fanarts of her and pineapples :biggrin: She also had a habit of eating pineapple with teammates.

Satoko is a skater with a unique style, her presentation at NHK was very good and I'm sure that at Skate America she will be even better, incredible as only she can be :luv17:

P.S. I think she looks lovely eating pineapple :love:
 
I knew 2A+3T was her best combo but I had no idea that she was capable of upgrading to a 3A+3T :laugh2::p

On a more serious note, I really think that 3Lz+2T+2Lo and 2 2A+3T is a much better layout... even something like Kaori's layout with 2A+3T+2T seems like it would be better for Satoko. Or even Rin Nitaya style layout, with 2A+3T+2T, 2A+3T, and 3Lz+2T would be optimal in my opinion with Satoko's rotation problems.

Totally! She won her silver medal at worlds with that layout. Her 3lz3t and 3lz2t2lo layout is crazy, whyyyyyy does she insist on it? Same for Wakababy's 3F. Just crazy :drama:

I was thinking maybe she doesn't trust her stamina to do two 2A-3T combos in the second half. She did run out of steam at NHK.
 
I love her. She's such a wonderful skater. And I'm glad she won the short, but either way, she did beautifully.
