Just looked at the score breakdown for for the first two couples. B/A only won the TES over D/W by .30 even though D/W had an error on their twizzles.

B/A must have had lower or GOEs somewhere.

Did anyone notice anything amiss for K/N during the warmup?

They did warm up. I did not notice anything wrong. Perhaps one of them is ill?

Meryl put a foot down on the lift, I'm pretty sure. so that makes two mistakes. Plus the lack of synch on the steps.

Interesting on IN, they're tapping into Canadian PJ Kwong's commentary. It's nice to hear her understated and clear comments.

All the teams look jittery so far. The energy in that arena is crazy- you can feel it even through the internet feed. The audience is screaming like it's a rock concert.

B/A and D/W both skated cautiously but got through it. B/A had a cleaner skate- Tanith is now sporting frilly ankle socks peeking out over the top of her skates. Same outfit as CoC though.

D/W even with the mistake on the sbs twizzles- they both looked relieved that they sort of got over that hump.

I think going straight into the OD must kind of feel like when the single skaters just have the SP to place them so there's even more pressure on the performance.

B/A had a slight error on the twizzles as well. It'll be interesting to see the footwork levels.

I have no problem with B/A getting higher SS,MO,PE on the PCS but I would have given the CH and IT to D/W.

I believe that is a choreographed part of the lift

it's been in all their previous competitions
