She landed the 2A(and 3Lo) in warm up...

I'd keep the rippon 3Lo but lose the rippon 3F.

They jumps just aren't there anymore.
did she move back to her former coach Pisarenko ?
she is still with Rukavicin ?
I remember what she said on the press conference after Junior Worlds 2015: I'am so used to jump with arms over head, that now I can't without.I remember one international event she did last year her rippon jumps didn't help her at all so I don't know why she continues with them.
1. The dress is trashy... that's kind of the point but there's nothing endearing about it whatsover. I'll be frank, if she wears that to Skate America there will be people who chuckle at it. The
2. The rippon jumps are dumb. They are 20 times more jarring than the bended arm tanos which I don't mind at all. People who fall on rippon jumps look really stupid.
I don't think she is that much better, than last year. Yes, if you count it on landed jumps versus falls, her succes rate is higher, but all the jumps look so iffy that it feels it is a miracle when she lands it and watching it is quite stressful. I wish she was doing ice dance because then she wouldn't have to jumps, but I wouldn't want her to switch discipline because I think it may be too late if she wants to skate for Russia. I wish she could do something to improve the landings. More running edge, less bent forward, and the jumps to have more secure feel.I think, that's her dress from last year FP. In SP she used the dress from My sweet and tender beast of 2015 season. I guess, her new dresses are simply not ready.
I agree with your last point - people falling on rippon do look stupid - it's like you come to a ballet and a dancer falls. I also agree that Sima's use of rippons is excessive. Zagitova set the standard how to use rippon jumps. But I cannot agree that she is just slightly better than last year. I think she is much better. 1 fall, 1 double, 1 stepout - and it is still just August.
I also have a theory that tanos will remain the visiting card of Medvedeva - she won't switch to rippons like everyone else seem to do now.

Saying that, it is still early in the season. Let's hope...
Sima should try an easier layout and avoid 2a at all cost.
3F1lo2F 3F 3Lz 3s2t 3Lz2t 3lo 3t problem solved. If she feels up to one 2A then she can do 3s3t. Two 2A is just not pretty. The chance of her landing both is similar to Maria Artemieva skating clean. Those axels are stressing her out to the point that she can't land the triples either.
