Unless Russia is going to Croatia with 1 skater, she's skating next week (unless she is injured). There is nobody to sub her out. She should really try for consistency here and you know Russia would if they could. A lower base value helped Tukt regained consistency and confidence. Then she can add difficulty as she progress. First thing, stop digging herself in a hole in the SP![]()
Sigh. Poor girl.
Since they're not sending anyone else, why take her away? To prevent her from further disappointment?
kwanfan1818 said:She's currently 39th on the 2015-16 SB list and unless she gets sent to Jr. Worlds and/or goes to a CS event and has a big turn-around, she's going to be starting from zero if she goes senior next season, as she's unlikely to hang on in the Top 24 WS when 2013-14 drops and 2015-16 gets factored by 70%. There are four Russian Juniors ahead of her from JGP in the SB list, three substantially and one solidly so, and enough senior Russian Ladies for GP spots, with Soskova a likely candidate to move up, Sotnikova likely eligible for two, etc.
Sima is on the entries list for Ice Challenge (27 Oct - 1 Nov)

It doesn't seem to me as a great news. So frequent change of coaches :disapp: I'm affraid for her even more now
Look how she's been doing so far since going back to SPB...how could it possibly be worse? Sure, some of her issues are probably related to puberty, but I had the impression her original coach had taken her as far as she could. Sima isn't changing rinks or moving again, and she will have other skaters to compete with. And I love Rukavitsyn as a coach - it seems his skaters have been improving a lot over the past year or so (the younger ones, at least).
I do want to be mistakenBut why? What is the reason of the change? The low results at JGP Logrono? And if there will be the same results throughout the season? The change of coach again? It isn't a decission of the problemI do want to be mistaken

No coach is a magician, and it's not realistic to expect her problems to go away overnight. Things might be rough for awhile as she struggles with puberty, but no, I don't believe she will change again any time soon. We know she went back to SPB for family reasons, and it seems she wasn't planning on staying with Pisarenko longterm anyway. I don't see her as someone who hops from coach to coach just on a whim...it's just the circumstances she found herself in.
