Reporting from Saitama:

Shoma's gala had watered-down jump content, but was still as deadly as ever. The suit looked stunning! He looked into my general area of the rink during it, and I officially became a dead banana. Help. Shoma was also throwing tennis balls into the audience near my corner of the rink. Unfortunately, they didn't land near me. He can throw a ball pretty deeply into the audience, though...
Yes, Padam Padam today was even more beautiful, even without the more difficult jumps. The interpretation was on point, it was the most intense of the season for me 😍
I also liked Keagan Messing and Jaspn Brown exhibitions!

To me, that costume looked familiar, yet it wasn't a suit with seperate Jacket (or I need glasses).
It looked somehow more like a thinner, comfy one piece costume?

Have finally catched up with all the skating I had planned to watch, and wow, what a great event! I'm just so full of emotions. So many great skates and wonderful moments, and of course, I'm especially thankful for Shoma and his skating.

Although, I feel slightly offended by his talk about not liking his own performances and how he believes that they don't resonate with people's heart, since it's quite the attack on my taste. But, if it keeps him motivated to continue to improve, I'll take it;) and look forward to what comes next, while cherishing the memories from his journey so far:pray:

Also, I just want to add that I'm very thankful for the online skating community in general and this thread i particular. I've tried to watch skating with my non-invested friends, and unfortunately, they don't really get it. The line was crossed this weekend when some of them chatted THE WHOLE TIME watching some of the men's short, and kind of ridiculed the skaters... Luckily, I'd watched the skaters I showed them a couple of times already, so it wasn't totally ruined for me. However, I've come to understand that I might not easily find friends to share my enthusiasm for skating (and Shoma). For me, the experience of watching skating gets so much more powerful when you know the skater's journey, their personality (from what we fans can get to know, at least).

Therefore - even though I mimght not always be very active here, and I'm quite bad at reacting to posts etc - I just wanted to say that your posts, engagement and support for this very special skater is so appreciated:giggle:

ehehehe
I also have some (homemade gifs) aside already from both programs. Perhaps not now, just over the next few weeks one here, one there?

but have some other material again 😅 (note to self: must.stop.looking.for.stuff  )

What do you think? Landing of 1T? like Bolero-1F reloaded?

The end. Stunning energy - also because he knew he was a bit late 😏

Great line-up! Hope it's available for viewing.

Other countries that qualified: Italy, France, Korea, Canada, USA. Woot woo.

Awww, poor Emma misses Sho so much! So glad they have a chance for a mini-reunion!

Adding -- And here I was thinking I'm so glad Sho will get to rest a little bit now. Never mind. Stars on Ice is March 30 to April 9. No rest for the weary! Take care of that ankle Sho!

He should be in shape and the shows will help keep him in good form artistically without stressing that ankle as much. Although, it's doubtful he'll want to water down content at this particular series of shows. WTT is a week later. Another stresser. Demi-san, do your magic.
