And pinch his cheeks!
so cool! I read that to buy the limited edition enters you into a lottery to win a chance to meet with Shoma and shake hand. Is this true??
Now you've crossed a line demarinis, you naughty :dev2:

@demarinis5 you two made me laugh lol lolLOL! To be perfectly clear MaiKatze the cheeks I was talking about are above his waist.![]()
hi, Daphenaxa, thanks for the reply! yep, Shoma's surely popular here. Thank you for the link of daily motionThis TV program's created by one of local TVs, Nagoya TV(his home town), so even I couldn't watch it in Tokyo
Finally I've done it!
In April I went 4TT, in May PIW yokohama 3 times and Faoi Makuhari, then realized there're only a few Shoma fans here still. 90 percents are Yuzu fans in Faoi. For instance, in Faoi only I and some girls called 'Shoma!' before his show started, despite the majority screamly called 'Yuzu!' So, many many magazines & TV CM want to work with Yuzu still now. Overall I can say Shoma's in the Third position probably when I imagine how popular he is. Just felt like that. Or many Shoma fans choose to watch the show on TV as each show costs around 200 dollars!!
I'll go Doi, PIW again and the talk show and Foi. Will post how those are. Btw JP show's strict, many don' permit photo, video, autograph..
FYI. Colantotte, Shoma's neck charm, produced the limited ver. of Shoma edition..250 dollars! me? bought it lol.
, and again - welcome!LOL! To be perfectly clear MaiKatze the cheeks I was talking about are above his waist.![]()
:scard7: I was at the 6 pm show! Honestly, I'm still confused on what happened, it just sucks that multiple people told me that Shoma was doing an autograph signing and then later finding out he had already left. Maybe the rink staff told me the wrong info?![]()
Hi Kanna and welcome! I am so jealous of all the shows and WTT you attended. How fun! No matter how many people are or aren't cheering, Shoma is still very exciting live! And that necklace! I love it!...Did you get to talk to him or get close to him at any of the PIW performances? A lady I met at Worlds had the most beautiful photos of him from one of last years shows. He looked so nice with all the bouquets of flowers he was holding...I've talked to him 3 times, but I think I was more excited about shaking his hand than talking to him.
I have a question for you too. See what happens when you are one of our Japanese resources?! My question is about the way Shoma speaks Japanese. Is his Japanese different because he is from Nagoya (his vocabulary, accent, expressions, etc.)?
Thanks in advance, and again - welcome!

Oh darn!:scard7:
10% body fat -- and I think we know where about 8% of it is!
Yep, I went PIW 3 times in May, then will go another PIW in Jul. Only PIW shows allow us to talk to & photo & shake hands with him. Very casual atmosphere, Shoma talks funny things always, like he doesn' like Miso soup at all etc. If you have a chance to visit JP, pls take PIW's best seats. Cheaper seats are unable to join those the fan event. The show itself is not so super though. Ah, also you can do so to all other skaters, Arakawa, Ando etc. You can find PIW Yokohama 2017 in twitter or instagram, many photos JP fans took. I have only Insta, what about you?
You mean, dialect? he has a bit, but I don' realize there's a huge gap between mine and his. he's such a sweetie, I'm so happy to see that Shoma's loved by many fans in foreign countries
The necklace, Colantotte, is an item for golfers most. This limited Shoma edition contains photo of Shoma with a special photo frame etc. Many sold out quickly. You can find Colantotte official site, though it's not cheaper cuz it releases neck irritation. Any questions're always welcome![]()
A heads up that the translator of the mini-documentary, which link I posted yesterday, is going to be translating and subbing the entire long 45min+ documentary video. Looking forward to that.

We've talked about PIW in Shoma's thread a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't sure, if it's possible to get front-row tickets the normal way or if you have to enter a lottery for them. Also how fast do the PIW shows usually sell out?The show itself is not so super though.

Anyone recognize who that is?
Between his shows and flights and practicing for this season's programs and his ice show presentations/choreography, plus studying, I wonder how he still has time to sleep 12 hours/day (I seem to have read that somewhere, I think a fan asked him in PIW about how long he sleeps)! Crazy schedule.
In case you're reading this, Cantilover: thx a bunch for all of your efforts!
Thanks for sharing his schedule and the other information, Kanna! You're such a great fan, I'm also a little envious that you've seen him so many times in person! Between his shows and flights and practicing for this season's programs and his ice show presentations/choreography, plus studying, I wonder how he still has time to sleep 12 hours/day (I seem to have read that somewhere, I think a fan asked him in PIW about how long he sleeps)! @ Latremu
Yeah, he mentioned he needs 8-12hrs to sleep lol. According to some fans, he seemed to go to bed around 22PM, then wake up early, good habit. I knooow, he joins almost all shows, I'm a bit scared, hope he'll stay healthy! Then, he's a univ student, and a Toyota worker now..tell me about it!?
Hope you'll visit JP! GPF's held in Nagoya, his home townI've been waiting for the ticket info.
Ironically, I realize now that I was in Japan during NHK trophy last November (but I was in Tokyo, not Sapporo). I wasn't following figure skating then. Anyway, Shoma wasn't there, so it's okay. I was considering going to GPF in Nagoya, but aren't the tickets by lottery?
Welcome from me too, Kanna! It's great to have you here!
Now I have a question (or two) as well. We've talked about PIW in Shoma's thread a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't sure, if it's possible to get front-row tickets the normal way or if you have to enter a lottery for them. Also how fast do the PIW shows usually sell out?
It looks a bit "old-fashioned" (maybe because it's the ice-show with the longest tradition in Japan?), which can also be kinda charming I guess. And it's the only show Tatsuki regularly peforms in these days and where he presents his awesome, self-choreographed programs every year, so that's a huge bonus! What would you say is the best Japanese ice-show? Say, regardless of your favourites being there or not, if you had to choose one, which one would you go to? My favourites from watching recordings of them are Friends on Ice (for its creative opening and closing numbers), The Ice (for the fun group numbers and dance battles) and Christmas on Ice (for its cozy vibe and great singers), but of course the impression could be completely different live... if you've been to any of those in the past. Sorry for bombarding you with questions!

Wonder if this is next year's Nessun Dorma music. If it is, it's a different singer from last year. Don't recognize who it is (starting at 43:55). http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5p8q66_shomaunosp_sport Anyone recognize who that is?
Hi to everyone) I'm also a new here (by the way I'm more a reader, then a writer, but I hope to change it step by step). I have been loving figure skating for many years, but Shoma has been my love since last year's Rostelecom cup. Very sad not to have him again this year, but may be I'll be able to see him in Milan)
You have an amazing warm company here, it's a real pleasure to read your discussions)
P.S. I'm very sorry for any (current and future) mistakes in English, I learn it now and I'll try to do my best)
It's Luciano Pavarotti. Or Three Tenors (Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras) version, I'm not too sure about the first piece. But since "Ma il mio mistero è chiuso in me" it's Pavarotti 100%

Welcome Bambina! Have fun enjoying Shoma and practicing your English. (Looked pretty good to me!)...I wasn't sure if that was Pavarotti, but today I am going to try to find my old 3 Tenors CD. I remember now the 3 Tenors sang Nessun Dorma.
I love the line in Italian you quoted above. That is what I had printed on a t-shirt and gave to Shoma when he was here. He probably has 500 t-shirts, so it would be a miracle if he wears it!
Hope you get to see The Winter Prince in Milan. He is great live. And to use the B ESP boys' description of Shoma, "Wasn't he utterly brilliant" (at Rostelecom). Did you get to see him live at Rostelecom?

Hi - Having heard Pavarotti a lot, I'm pretty sure (99.9%) it's not him singing. Max Aaron used Pavarotti here:

Yes, you read that right. If it's one of the 3, it's Carreras. Very hard to tell. And when Shoma was running his music, I was in the restroom using an electric hand dryer and really couldn't hear a thing! (such problems!) That's right -- I forgot Max used Nessun Dorma! Thanks for the link!
