to make it clear : i have no problem with butt showing... and all shoma's costumes have done that LOL.... it's the "rest" that makes me weird... it is almost like he went commando LOL

Well didn't he say on that variety show that he'd me up to skating naked 😁 I thought he wasn't serious but maybe he was!

After watching the better quality video I posted I would have to agree. The bottom half of his
costume is ill fitting. Shoma could get a costume violation it has happened in the past
with other male skaters. Come on Fluffy fix the darn costume.
 
^^^Ha! Ha! Actually I was thinking yesterday that if they didn't give Ivan Righini a costume violation, they probably wouldn't give anyone a violation. Seriously, first of all it looked like Ivan followed the Team USA policy of looking in his closet and seeing if he had some ugly t-shirt he could skate in! :laugh2: Then the entire time he skated, the shirt kept riding up and exposing his abdomen and I believe (a la Shoma EX) his belly button. I'm sure his "for real" costume wasn't ready yet...Fluffy to the rescue. The pants are too distracting, much as I love looking.

ETA -- The black pants he wore at Worlds for his SP were really nice.

I was reading bits of comments from other “places” be it youtube past and present or someone else’s fandoms, which is not a good idea lol, but as I followed the (loopy) tracings of skating fans thinking, which goes from almost criminal, to so weirdly conspiracy fantasy, I literally went from anger to hilarity. It always comes back to watching shosho skate. That’s the pudding.

I feel, with the start of the comps, a different sort of practice begins. It’s a great start, and he wanted to know how he stands. But then regardless of victory it’s time for polishing and polishing (i wish Ouriachev could continue to be in touch just to keep ShoSho on the march to increasing sharpness - there’s such a difference) …polishing until it gets so unbelievably better and solid you won’t recognize it. (and the other fandoms become a very nasty shade of dark fear)

HUGE progress now, done VERY VERY VERY steadily!!!

there’s only one thing i worry about when it comes to costumes in competition. That it hinders the technique. and i don’t want him to start thinking there’s something wrong and mess with adjusting the dancebelt again, the height of it’s placement (which at times makes it worse by making it look like something’s happening that ISN’T), what have you, when it’s the last thing to think about.
god knows they probably worry about so many details, coaches, team, ShoSho!
