Quote of the week "You know when a person's in love, they can't be objective. And I'm completely head over heels in love with Shoma Uno." -- Tatiana Tarasova  :laugh2: :dance2:

well... finally i have something in common with Tat.... hahahahahahahahahaa there is nothing objective with my Shoma love LOL ;) it's just there... :)

I just read the article. He awarded Shoma SP's costume the Silver but had a few snarks in his review. The nerve of him.:rolleye:

Oh my gosh, this is the first time I'm seeing this. So cute! It's Mao playing with Itsuki. And I think that's Shomajesty taking off? / putting on? his skates. They sure were happy looking kids!

Welcome to Shomaland, karyi! :hap10: May I say on behalf of all users here how warm and supportive this place is.

Wow, I guess soon we'll have our spies at every competition Shoma participates in. We're already following him very closely indeed! :yay:

Welcome karyi! :ghug: We love Shoma and each other, here in the FS, welcome to our cozy and happy group! And yes, tell us all about Grenoble!!! I'm so happy to hear that a few Shoma Fans make the trip. The France GP always seemed the less attended, audience wise, so good that a few people make the trip against all odds!

Winter is a good costume but the fact the writer chose it over Turandot is completely baffling to me. But then I realized by his other choices that his taste is definitely not the same as mine.

I agree...these are very weird choices. Of course I love Winter, but the Turandot costume is a masterpiece. It also fits the lyrics of Nessun Dorma, which is really thoughtful. I loved Shoma in green, but that night blue, I can't deny he looks absolutely amazing in that. For me Turandot 2.0 is almost an entirely new experience anyway, and I'm not comparing it to Turandot 1.0, it's like a completely new program and the costume helps enforce that impression. No one can convince me that Shoma's costumes aren't the greatest of all the men this season.

They definitely are. And then Shoma and her Royal Fluffiness took a scissor to Turandot's neck because itchy. This made me laugh and cry so hard at the same time.

Agree!! I like Blurandot so much better. Not to be repetitive, but he really does look like a prince in that costume. It's just a league away from any of the other men's costumes. :luv17: Even if they did cut the collar (maybe he couldn't move his head properly because it was so rigid?).

Welcome, Gingkos and Karyi!! Welcome to the Shomochka/the Winter Prince's fanfest!! :hap10: So glad you'll get to see him live in Grenoble, Karyi! :yahoo: Enjoy!

By the way, I finally saw the Victory ceremony at Skate Canada! I was so proud of Shomita for coming close to the audience, shaking hands with so many people, and even allowing them to take selfies with him! He's definitely coming out of his shell and feels more confident now.

Welcome Karyi, nice to meet you! You will enjoy yourself in Shoma's FF, we have a lot of fun here! :hap10:
Don't worry about your English it is fine. :)

Many congrats to Shoma for the win at Skate Canada! :yahoo:

My husband and I were watching the Free on TV and almost spilt our coffee because the first words that came from him was 'I'm sooooo sleepy tbh' when asked about 'how you feel now?' by Asahi.

Rest well, Shoma to give ankle enough time to be healed, and it's time to eat vegigie, Boy. I mean it! ;)
Which ankle that has been bothering him since summer, btw? Right foot I guess?

A very warm welcome to Gingkos and Karyi from me too. Let's cheer for our Shoma together. :ghug::yay:

thank you for your warn welcome I'll do my best to report everything that'll happen in Grenoble. I'm so excited about this event
I have already seen him once last year because I live in Marseille ( the worst gpf organization ever :( ) and it was awesome !
It's an olympic year so there are a lot of people who are going to Grenoble (mainly to support P/C I'm also a huge fan of them) and Shoma is really liked among french fans :) !!

Our dear german Eurosport commentator is so in awe of Shoma's brilliance that he got almost all his facts wrong, when he commented on Shoma's Gala. So don't blame me, blame him.

Sigi Heinrich, German Eurosport, Gala, Skate Canada 2017

So, dear viewers, now we only have winners, only victors, only great results left, and I will tell you a score now: 301,10 points did Shoma Uno reach at this victory at Skate Canada this year, and there have been only two Figure Skaters so far that have reached a higher Number, Yuzuru Hanyu and then Yuzuru Hanyu again, yes that's the way it is, and he is the second 300 points man in the history of figure skating. Shomo (sic!) Uno. He was brilliant!
This boy is a piece of art in himself. Shomo (sic!) Uno. These scores bring tears of joy into the eyes, but his performance and what he shows on the ice even more! Who knows, we might witness here and now, during this olympic season, dear audience, a change of an era, a generation change. Javier Fernandez has to stretch himself, Yuzuru Hanyu too. Shoma Uno pulled Patrick Chan's tooth here at the short program, for example. 103 points did Shoma draw in the short. It's the fourth highest score in history, only Hanyu has had three better results, and if you look only at the long, Shoma Uno reached the third best score ever.

Original

Many congrats to Shoma for the win at Skate Canada! :yahoo:

Hello sweet deedee! How are you? I love Shoma's honesty. Even with the media, he says it like it is!
