ETA -- Just to complicate things, the email went out today saying that All-Event passes will go on sale on May 30 for 4CC. No single tickets yet, but this post gives a good summary of the info. Seems pretty expensive compared to the free Taiwan tickets. https://goldenskate.com/forum/showt...-information&p=2102836&viewfull=1#post2102836

That does seem quite expensive. I saw from Twitter that Vancouver Grand Prix Final tickets can be purchased from: https://skatecanada.ca/2018-isu-grand-prix-of-figure-skating-final/
which seem like a bargain in comparison!

Wow, those 4CC tickets are expensive! Love the free ones in Taiwan. Meanwhile, Asian Trophy tickets (Thailand) are also free, and the rink is in the middle of a mall. I vote to have more competitions in non-Japan Asian countries. [emoji7]

Makes sense that the GPF tickets are cheaper. You only get to see 6 skaters per event (even though they're supposedly the best skaters).

I guess it's the pre-sale that starts May 30, sale to the public starts June 1. If anyone wants the pre-sale code, let me know. Pretty expensive tickets, although you do get a lot of entertainment for the money. If I spent that kind of money, I sure would hope the Prince is gonna be there!

As a Friend of Figure Skating member, you have access to an exclusive pre-sale starting May 30 at 10 a.m. PDT. All-session tickets for Four Continents will go on-sale to the public on Friday, June 1 so be sure to claim your tickets first. An additional email will be sent out on May 30 at 10 a.m. PDT with a direct website link and promo code for the pre-sale.

^^^My favorite video ever! I've probably listened to the Shoma parts at least 5 times. Thank you Doug for confirming what we all already know. How he mentions Shoma in relation to Patrick Chan? Phenomenal!

Ohhhhh ! Thank you so much tipptong !!
I love this part : "he's probably the best looking Asian ever, he's completely well dressed, and he's got the best knees, he's the best skater after Patrick Chan and he has guts !" :luv17: :luv17: :luv17:

I think it is Born. I am wondering if it is made by DSquared, the same brand that makes the Fresh Out of Scouts jeans that Shoma wears for Great Spirits?

With regards to the video, he has some good advice on improving his jumps, although the other two didn't like his program music this season (am I the only one who liked Winter and Turandot?)
It's lovely to see people all around the world appreciating Shoma, that's also why I'm glad I found this forum! And also the #shomauno tag on twitter =)

Yes, definitely DSquared, and definitely BORN. I found it online now. Thx...Dave was pretty strongly against both programs, but Jonathan really liked Winter. I remember when Jonathan saw Shoma live at Grenoble, he gave a very interesting review on both programs. Shoma had been off the ice for a while because of the flu, so I don't know that it was his best performance, but I think Jonathan enjoyed Turandot.

Oh, these birds. I can’t! https://twitter.com/birbshoma/status/1000494381223366662

Can anyone read what is on the back of the baseball cap Shoma is wearing In the video where he’s pitching? You can see “…in Canada”, but I can’t read the first word. (Maybe "Born")

I also love the birds!

"Born" it is (check out the second picture):

It's my favorite part too! He's right even some might disagree...

Dreamer57, agree with you on Winter and Turandot, they're beautiful music!

And Shoma's going to Chicago so he'll keep practicing and improving his jumps. And hopefully someone translates to him the jumping advice on the video.

Sorry, Arriba, I just read you had confirmed the "born in Canada".

Btw, thanks tipptong for the video! Had seen it but it's always nice to see it again.

I love this part too! Plus all the technique he mentioned on what Shoma could improve. I can’t wait for next season! Shoma keeps learning and growing as a skater [emoji7]

I love Winter so much! It’s funny cause in the beginning of the season TSL has nothing but praise for Winter. Maybe because Blurandot was never skated clean after Lombardia they felt it was not a great choice for Shoma’s olympic year program. But Jonathan always appreciates Shoma’s artistry.

Hey everyone! I've been lurking on this thread since after the Olympics, but I've been a fan of Shoma's since the 2016 GPF. I'm really excited about all the Shoma content we're getting this off-season! I'm also planning on trying to see Shoma in person at either Skate Canada or Four Continents.

I was really excited to find such a positive community of people cheering for the Prince, and I'm glad to be one of them.
