This is a happy day!!! He truly showed his greatness as a skater and as an athlete. I can´t stop admiring the overall quality of his skating. That is simply superior. He is intense and controlled and at the same time so smooth and so effortless.

The arena was in full banana mode for the final flight. It was crazy and super loud ! He earned this every step of the way. He never backs down and really knows how to fight! So proud of him! I'm sure he learned many lessons along the way...Looking forward to hearing his press conference...He looked exhausted. Heck, I'm exhausted. I feel like I skated!... Sho for all your hard work! <3

The way he fought it through till the end, never giving up any points away, never giving up on himself while in enormous pain during the Nats and 4CC is just amazing. A true fighter.

I hope Shoma will now understand that he is more than capable of delivering a great performance and more than capable of winning the gold. He has it all, he just has to do it. I can't get over how at the same time he's the most precious smol bean there ever was and the most strong, brave and determined man. He never ever gives up. Shomaaaaaa! Huge congrats for the GOLD! I was so nervous when he took the ice. That skate, especially how he collapsed once it all ended, got me right in the feels. He did so well even with his injury! And also, congratulations for the WR!

Wow. Now this is away to show appreciation because he came there for them with injury and all. I would have wrapped him in foam and kept him from competition until Worlds. Truly Clutch performance by Shoma.
