I super love purple Winter too and (although it's a very unpopular opinion) Bananadot. Actually I love all of them so today I felt like a rebel and voted for Loco! :cool:

I voted for Loco as I thought the overall construction of the costume was more flattering and does more in enhancing the way he looks on ice. The cut of the 'jacket' (bolero?) is divine and I love the way it defined his shoulders without constricting his chest area. The length of the collar is just right and adds to the line of his neck. The red ombre is so well done, bleeding that dramatic red into solid black so his legs look longer. And perfectly matched illusion mesh to his skintone on the front, always + points.

I'm sad Blue Moonlight Sonata lost XDD that is another costume that works aesthetically (imho) and makes him look so good (streamlined legs, broadens up his slim chest /upper body with the drapings and strategically placed sequins)while being seemingly simple, almost casual at the same time. Plus it looks a night full of stars!

p/s I love Purple Winter too!! the detailings, colour, neckline and how beautiful and otherworldly Sho looked in it, like some kind of a winter fairy or something LOL :luv17:

Purple Winter is the first adult* Shoma costume so it has a special place in my... heart lol. The crystals! The transparent mesh! The deep, deep neckline! Fly your unpopular opinion high, Grap! I personally admire the detailed work that goes to Bananadot, the cut-outs and beadings are magnificent, and I treasured the photos at Prince Ice World where you can see the details in full glory and more attractive lighting. It look like a Goldenrandot instead of a Bananadot there XD

*) first costume after Shoma turned 20, and of course it was very, very transparent ;) at least on its first outing at Nationals lol.

That is so cute LOLOL how did fans find out these things?? did they go through a bunch of Yonezu Kenshi songs to match up the clip, or someone just has really amazing lip-reading ability XDD

I've learned by now that everything is possible with Shoma fans! I think the broadcast got Shoma's phone screen showing the song's MV on Youtube for 0.0005 second and the fans took it from there XD
 
I looooove the videos of Shoma singing! He looked like he was really into it. So cute.

By the way, anyone have the lyrics and translation to the song? I'm curious because I heard somewhere that it's interesting.

That's... neither simple nor lighthearted. Reading the lyrics almost made me want to cry. It's interesting music, although I wouldn't have guessed the lyrics were so painful just by listening to the music.

Stars On Ice's first show is today! Can't wait to see some footage and reports. I wonder whether we'll see more competition programs here because of WTT, I can recognize Stairway from the practice photos.

LOL Shoma was asked about the Ishikawa prefecture (SOI's next stop, Kanazawa) and what food he wanted to try there, and of course, the answer is classic Shoma XD
