Hey, if I was in my home jumping around and screaming, surely Stephane must have been doing the same thing, lol.

The opening comes in about 6 hours. There have already been a few events before the official opening. I think there was some skiing already too.

According to articles, he really seems to be relieved. His body did not move so much, but at least he could do.
I thought so. Shoma could do more.
And about the costume, don't worry, he said something like he knew fans love another costume, but he made the red one and wanted to have it.
I am sure he will bring the old costume.

^^^i thought there were a few sections where he seemed more cautious than usual, but it was a masterful performance. I'm laughing at some of the comments going around. "Oh, he has such soft knees!" "He has wonderful musicality." What? You just figured that out tonight? ! 
I was a little worried that the competition was in the morning, since he said he moves better in the afternoon/evening. I guess Stephane's "fight for the 3T" is really a famous comment!...And the accolades continue.

SHOMAAAA you did it!! 
It was so beautiful 
And the 4T3T on Olympic ice was just *chef's kiss*!!
I am so proud of him, and he did all of this without his coach with him - I hope we will get some Stéphane hugs later though

And that was a personal best short program score! 
I didn't hear about Stéphane ahead of time, which is kind of nice because I didn't have a chance to worry when I only wondered where he was right before Shoma started. Clearly his spirit and how he has bolstered Shoma is enough! Still hope to see him rinkside for the individual competition, of course, so they can experience it together!!

I knew after that practice where it was reported he did a zillion quads that he would be the talk of the Team Event. I got my wish. Well done, Shoma. His program is so much better than the other men in the TE. He went for the 3T! The level 3's hurt a little but the 10's from judge 8 was icing on the cake.

Well done Shoma and Team Japan! Out of third place by one point.
Moving forward TJ is looking good for that Team Bronze.

I think I heard the maximum number allowed is 800 persons, because of Covid. I'm afraid it will still be very quiet, except for Sui and Han (whom I love!). Feel bad for the skaters though, cos they usually feed off the energy of the crowd.
