Omg, mikaboo! I didn't mean to sound complaining! I was laughing at myself watching a whole video without a clue of what was being said! So sorry if you thought I was demanding.

Thank you so much for the translation. He is such a hard worker. I am sure he will get there. Gaining more stamina will be a large part of the battle.

Oh no, I didn't think you were complaining or being demanding so please don't feel that way! It's just that I intended to leave a rough translation of the video but couldn't when I posted it, that's all :)

Shoma wins the men's event at JO. :drama:185.48!

But I hope he's not peaking too early...

Shoma! :dance:Thanks mikaboo.

I am not so worried about his peaking. This season is his debut season in senior. What’s important is he gives as big an impact as possible at the beginning. Of course, keeping good condition through the season is difficult. But I believe he shall do well this season:)
He got PCS as high as 86! It’s too high. I want to see the detailed score sheet soon!:drama:

Yes, you're right. He can do whatever he wants to this season to find out things about himself (his stamina, peaking time, etc.) as a senior skater.

I read something funny on twitter from someone who was at JO.
After Shoma's skate, Mao and Machiko-sensei hugged as if they were congratulating eachother.
Mao "I discovered him"
Machiko "I raised him"

wow super happy for Shoma!!:cheer2: cant wait for the performance
also for the Japanese public! happy that their team won.

Wow! Great skate from Shoma! I am so proud of him! :cheer:

And his face in the K&C! He was sooooooo cute! The rest of Team Japan applauding him and so happy was so lovely too!

i'm happy gor him! Amazing!
yeah, he was very cute at K & G. he was surprised very much.
i've heard he's a hard worker. he deserves the result.

That photo of Shoma with Javi is just  as was this one with Dice.

And this photo of Shoma at practice is the best evidence of why eggplant on tumblr has re-titled her Shoma blog with love #tinyangrysushiroll.

Wow what a gutsy performance by Shoma, loved it! His pacing was much better
which helped his stamina. I was happy to see that he was not fall down exhausted at the
end of his program.

Congrats to him and to Team Japan! :cheer:

The most unbeliable thing about Shoma's FS was the placement of his second quad. I knew he had done the quad before seeing the video, but then the second half of the FS came and he did 3Lo and another triple. I was like: So he didn't do the quad? And then bang - a quad after 3 minutes of the FS! And even better quad then the first one!

Yeah I called him like that and she told me she'd change the title of the blog to #tinyangrysushiroll if he delivered. And then... she actually did.

Oh, I thought it was you I saw bringing up that description! Brilliant! And of course she did because, not only is it a perfect description of his intense cuteness in that seaweedy costume, but, wow, did he deliver. Excellent performance!

Brought up Don Shoma de Uno, #shomadot and basically every other title that blog has seen. :o:

We are co-running Satoko's fan blog now and she asked me "if Shoma is a sushi roll then is Satoko a sashimi" to which I answered #hotpinksashimi. I'm not changing the title of Satoko's blog to that though.

Back to Shoma, I just want to say I loved how the audience was already clapping before his program was done. And then what an amazing standing ovation! This tiny sushi roll can make a 19k capacity arena stand up for him.

He can indeed! I've watched his skate... um, a number of times now.

I just watched the TSL This and That from just after the US Classic and was very pleased with how complimentary they were about Shoma's FS. I hope they comment on his outing here. Jenny breathed, 'Knees' with reverence and made me laugh.

Have to chime in with how much I love the performance! He looked so confident out there on the ice and definitely less "tiny" (I mean it in the best way) than I had thought. Lots of lovely moments in the program plus the quad in the second half. I also love the costume; suits home really well.

Is it on to Skate America now? I will have big expectation when I see him live in Milwaukee I must admit. :)
