I really don't see Shoma growing that much more. I just think he is destined to be a little guy. That's ok though, there are lots of little guy great skaters...As for Nam, I'm so sad for him. And he has grown so much. I understand even his feet grew lots. At Skate America 2014, we saw him live and really enjoyed his skating. He took the bronze medal and showed so much promise...Strange thing, after the men's competition at Worlds, when we took the subway to our hotel, there was Nam standing there waiting for the subway too. And he was in our subway car later. I wish I would have had the nerve to give him a big hug, because he looked like he REALLY needed it, especially after his disaster at Worlds.

And the information we've been waiting for... he got his wisdom tooth pulled out
He's been going to university (he said at PIW that he hasn't attended any classes yet), has been taking 1 day off the ice per week, and ate a cake (he's been staying away from sweets during the season and will continue to do so, poor boy).

The interview link with Uncle Dai was posted on page 60 by Interspectator, post #888. I was so happy a translation was posted later on another site. It made me crazy to not know what they were saying. I just love the intensity in Shoma's eyes and how he seems to really be taking to heart everything Dai is telling him. And the pink fingernails are beautiful!

He's been going to university (he said at PIW that he hasn't attended any classes yet), has been taking 1 day off the ice per week, and ate a cake (he's been staying away from sweets during the season and will continue to do so, poor boy).

The SP music is awesome, and the tangos are REAL Piazzolla Argentine tangos. I think these both will be challenging, but Shoma is up to the challenge. With all the exercise he must get, I can't imagine that a few sweets here and there would make him gain weight.

Thanks! The interview has many to watch. He seems to get nervous with Dai before camera. I love the way he speaks. He doesn’t talk a lot but he talks sincerely. Yes, his eyes have much power and shine! Further, it’s nice he has much confidence in his artistry. He says in another interview that he enjoy expressing on ice now.

Provably the latter. Kenji describes just about the outfit of shoma which Kenji is getting promotion. Further, Shoma seemed to state firmly about his choreographer, Mihoko-sensei at the show in his reply to a fan's question.

Someone made a sample of "Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra" with his "Violin Sonata No.9" skate already.
It's quite touching. For me, the music reminds me of Machida more than Mao because I wasn't following figure skating back when Mao skated to it.

Has anyone used either of his tango music before? I'd like to see them if they have.
His Japanese fans' main concern seems to be "will he be able to remember the titles of his music?" I know I won't.

Fun sample! Love the violins. I know he'll do great with that. And to think he is a junior in that video clip. Wow!...I speak Spanish and I know I'll have a hard time remembering the LP titles! Shoma may need to "brush up" on his Spanish!

After seeing his interview with Dai more than once, it made me think Shoma is so much more relaxed than he used to be - remember his interview with Kenji? That was the one where I was afraid he might faint! I think he really is just super shy. Or maybe I just see it differently because I don't understand them (I was pretty lost once they got beyond "hai" and "sugoi" ) But the best thing of all is Shoma taking off one day a week! Thank you Uncle Dai!
