Yes! Yes!
LOTS of good stuff here! Looks like Stephane gave good advice on sharpening up the movements. The violin screech with the jumps was awesome, as was the cantilever with the arms. Liked the spins at the end, although he omitted his usual A spin. Steps are looking much improved. Can see that he's working on improving his tango face, and he is not relying on the gaping mouth
(ick!) to convey emotion. Really hope he keeps the red shirt and black pants look. That red shirt looks great with his beautiful hair. Can this music really be growing on me already?!:eekn::agree2:
I want to see this on a big rink. His speed is one of the things that makes his programs and his jumps awesome. There is no chance to get up the needed "full head of steam" on these show rinks...Think he should eliminate the move where it looks like he's trying to pull a bug out of his hair...Flying snow is never a good thing on jumps, and I saw a pretty good amount of snow. He has said he is doing at least one clean run through of each program a day in practice, so hopefully he's on the right track. This has already come a long way since he first performed it in Sapporo on June 3..
Anyone going to one of the Nagoya shows?
