He debuted his program at an ice show in June, so he has had lots of practice with it since then. The free leg has definitely improved. He came to the U.S. for 3 weeks in June and worked with Alex Ouriashev on his jumps (and other stuff too, including footwork).
Oh man I've really been out of the loop! Thank you for the update! Had no idea he was here for 3 weeks. It looks to have paid off. I think he is looking world podium bound if he keeps this up.

speaking a bit more seriously, I think performing it on various ice shows has helped him to get used to that program, it gets better every time.
that's definitely the best I've seen him do in competition, he made a 4F look easy! This great outing should give him a confidence boost for SA. I'll be cheering for him! 
This song is wildly popular in Argentina, but it is a bit much for my American ears, even with speaking Spanish. I am more used to it now though. Frankly at first, I disliked the first song more because it was so monotonous! But it all makes sense to me now!
