So I watched Turandot one more time. I just HAVE to say this. When I first saw him skate it at Lombardia, the program kept getting closer and closer to the end, and I was thinking "Oh no, please don't tell me he's excluding the 3-jump combo! How can he do that?!" I am still amazed that after the 4 minute mark he still has the stamina to do the 3-jump combo. Wow! He IS Mr. Stamina! Go Shoma kun! :hap85: :clapper:

I especially like the one with nobu. This guy is so effortlessly handsome no matter what he does.

When is the broadcast of Japan Open again? Is there a livestream?

There will be a broadcast on TV in Japan, but it's not live but rather later, in the evening. I'm sure we will get to see a video soon enough.

Shoma had quite a rough practice session, popping the first 4Lo into 2Lo and falling from 4S... Hope he delivers when it matters -- it's what he usually does. :hap10:

Shoma's practices are not going to bother me anymore, that's what I take away from last season. And honestly, I don't even care if he falls/pops his jumps at the actual skate. Japan Open means nothing. :reye:

I'll only worry when Shoma is out of the medals at the GP's. That's the only time it's really worth it.

This. I must admit the Japan Open doesn't rate... anywhere on my list of Important Things in the world of figure skating. He can do whatever he likes, as long as he doesn't get injured, I'm good.

Apparently Shoma is saying practices are not going too well, he can't jump well but doesn't really know why.
Especially with Shoma, not doing that well in practice doesn't actually mean not doing well in competition but i will prepare myself for those loop and salchow falls.

I agree. We know that Shoma can have a very bad practice and then skate beautifully in competition..

On the other hand Team Japan looks great! With Oda Daddy on the Team everything will be fine.
It won't be the end of the world if we have some mess ups and mistakes.

GO TEAM JAPAN!!!!!:cheer:

Ah...the famous boot problems. I agree with demarinis, better now than in February. Needs a bit of time, I suppose. But then, lol, why not say it like it is? I have no idea why, he says... I think it definitely needs no reason if you fall or pop jumps at practices. It never means anything. The opposite can also be true, you jump the most beautiful jumps and then fall in competition.

I agree with this! I thought right away of Jason Brown at NHK last year who had trouble getting any lift on his jumps and didn't know why. Turned out he had a stress fracture and didn't know it! So don't scare us like that Sho! With all those quads, he needs to have a bunch of boots ready to roll!

 Gaaaah! Why is he so darn cute? (or do I have to say handsome now?). Still think I prefer the reddish-tinted hair...Hope we don't get tortured for too long and that we get to see the Japan Open programs sooner rather than later.
