^^^I was just going to add that hopefully cantilover will post a translation soon!

Apparently, there has been a huge archeological discovery in China recently: one of the most valuable items unearthed was this antique plate (is it a plate?) with geometrical patterns on the border and the Chinese-style floral decoration and a golden prince painted in the centre. The identity of the prince remains shrouded in mystery, and archeologists still argue over the issue. https://twitter.com/min_anmn/status/917426804863901696
Sorry, just could not resist. :slink:
It's probably just a forgery anyway. :laugh2:

I love that! The Turandot top details are so lovely.

Thanks Arriba. So nice that Shomita talks about Mao and Dai his spitrual parents😜

For some reason I can't open GS from my office, I thought GS was on maintenance or something but wondered why it's taking so long. I didn't think of switching from Chrome to Safari until now. :hslap:

I've been keeping track of Shoma's updates, though!

Here's some more green screen stuff from Asahi. :dance3:

Aww he couldn't resist smiling, Shomita you were supposed to hold your 'attacking' face longer!

It is not a forgery. The plate has been identified by the Chinese experts as a rare calafuno plate.

Calafuno! I love it! That's a unique plate, probably one of a kind. Never to be seen again (at least after this season).

^^^Love these photos and am so happy Shoma and Jason are friends! Hard to believe little Sho is 14 or 15 years old in that old photo!

Thanks for the link Iorii! Great article which brought a lot of good memories to me. The level of talent in the men's competition was insane! :hap93: :2thumbs:

After reading once again about Sho's thoughts on 2016 Worlds I can't help but to think that what happened was the best thing ever to happen to him. He seemed to have learned a lot from it.

Oh I forgot I haven't formally introduced myself here as a Shoma fan. I first heard his name in a clip about Mao, about him meeting with the Asada sisters. And when Mao was asked if she wants him as her brother she said yes in no time (Of course who doesn't want to take Shoma home?). I first saw Shoma competing at Junior Grand Prix Japan in 2014. When I saw him I was like "wow he is small but cute! He is 16 already? Lets see what he can do." I was completely mesmerised by his skating skills and of course his unique combo +1Lo+3F, and his cool character on the ice as shown in Don Juan. Since then I started following him but not very closely because I was anticipating Mao's comeback.

In the season 2015-2016 I just like him even more when he introduced his cantilever in his program!! I was thinking "he knows how to use the music! Wonderful!" 2016 Worlds was not a good experience and I was so sad that my heart ached to see him at the Kiss&Cry like that. However, 2016 TCC was a refreshing experience with the success of the 4F, and it is a relief to see him happy again.

2016-2017 was the Loco season with many improvements. More stable with 4Ts, the 4F and the new 4Lo. I absolutely love the spread-eagle-3A-cantilever. He just keeps improving his skating and presentation so much (and being more adorable and handsome :hopelessness: *blush*), which is what I admire so much.

This season I have completely devoted myself into being a fan of Shoma, I follow accounts on twitter and instagram and I swear I just can't miss anything from him. He is my Prince Calaf, his name is Shoma Uno (I know your name ahha!), and he shall win! Go Shoma!!!:hap10::hap57::hap10:

What a sweet introduction post nolangoh! Super excited to see such a sweet fan of Shoma's. The fanfest is a warm place and I think we'll have the time of our lives during this Olympic Season. I just have a good feeling about Shoma. Did you see the interview in which he says what Olympic performance moved him the most? He said Mao's Sochi FS! And that certainly was the most moving and awesome performance of the night! Let's all support him during these months and cheer him onto the Olympic Podium! :yes2::clapper::cheer:

Welcome to the Prince's thread. Really enjoyed your heartfelt, thoughtful post. So jealous that you've been following him since his junior days. I feel like I missed so much! :sad4: I think we all need to fasten our seat belts for this season! We could be in for a wild ride!...I see your Canadian flag, are you planning on going to Skate Canada?
