I think if there's a guy I trust to deliver when it matters even after not so good practices, it's Shoma. He has an amazing competition mentality.

Edit: The 4T fall was a bit scary though.

Didn't the B.ESP boys once suggest that we should wrap him in cotton wool? Someone should! The falls look so bad :sad21:

I know...and when his program was over he did a few jumps in the background that looked absolutely brilliant - but I also saw him fall on his belly and that looked painful. When I see him fall like that I start to worry. As I usually am not able to see the practices it's not something that makes me anxious anymore, but if it gets presented like this, it's OMG! He's not ready! He looks tired! What was that? Argh! :roll9:

For those who didn't watch, Shoma skated to Winter.

I think since he really focused on the jumps this time, which didn't go so well, it made his runthrough look more lethargic than usual. There'll be a practice later on in the day (probably too late for us to watch) and he'll be more awake then, I promise.
 
what happened to the 4T during practice? any video? i just watched the runthru and that was meh. you can see he was totally carefree as he looked about 50% on only (except the beautiful spread eagle-3A).

Shoma looked like his usual self. He stopped at Fluffy's Café several times to have a chat. Then when it was his turn to skate he was at the wrong side of the rink and ran over quickly, looking really sweet. He fell on both quads, so no combo...Later I saw him jump a beautiful combo in the background though.

This was absolutely adorable. And then he looked like he wanted to laugh during his starting pose. :laugh:

Yup sounds like our typical Sho. Oh I don't like that he is breaking in new skates could affect his performance jump-wise.

I think Fluffy's Bar is even better. He really looks like he's ordering a beer or something. Hehe! And Fluffy, the ever charming bartender!
 
I'm not going to watch the afternoon practice. Tomorrow Night & The Night after Tomorrow will be late enough for me! Good luck ShoSho, practice hard!
