There was a ray of sunshine at practice today, even though our Shomita had a bit of a tough time! Glad he seemed to still be keeping his sense of humor, but it was making me pretty nervous! Was so excited he did his SP this morning, but it turned out to be a terrible run through. Just saw that you all were writing that he has boot issues. I believe it. I don't think it's unusual for him to come out and not skate full-out in practices. And he seemed very light hearted. We were all probably 20 times more worried than he was! He did have some good jumps outside of the run through that possibly were not on camera..

Thank you. I'm probably going back to Winter is Coming when we get closer to the Olympics again, but I always wanted an avatar where Fluffy wears her signature pink coat! I just rewatched Lombardia's Winter. I cannot wait!!! And then I read all the bitter commentary on Youtube and suddenly had to laugh. Oh yes, Winter is coming, indeed. A lot of people will be bitter cold this year! :dev2:

Oh that avatar. Her Royal Fluffiness is so awesome. Really was hoping she'd wear the pink coat, but no such luck! Any close ups of her beautiful nails yet?!

Just caught the last minute or so of the streamed practice. Saw him fall. Saw him jump beautifully. Saw him at the bar. Now all that's left is to cheer him on! :clapper: It's only Skate Canada, why am I nervous all of a sudden?

Shoma looks well prepared and trained (other than those darn new boots) I think he will do well. Being nervous is somewhat natural.
(Dai gave me several heart attacks while he was competing).

Towards the end of Dai's career I had to look away from the screen, when he skated, because I couldn't handle the tension. Damn, that man dragged my nerves through heaven and hell!

I'm happy Shoma still looks like a happy young icehopper. He isn't tense, even when things don't go his way. Yay!

Shoma's personality is so different than his Uncle, in a good way!

Isn't that how our Shoma always look? Full of hair gel and not giving a single damn to his chapped lips. Someone should throw him some chap stick to the rink (in addition to CK pants) lol

So that's what's different! I couldn't pinpoint why the Winter costume looked different (except it seemed to have even more snowflakes?). It's the pants color!

Agree that the black pants look much better. I wonder if Fluffy reads Shoma's FF. We did comment on the gray pants quite a bit.
