this is the greatest mystery... how on earth did the pants change? i thought the costume is a one piece. I actually like the black pants :agree:

Ahh my chest feels warm and fuzzy. Winter has gotten even better, he looks happy and all smiley. I'm happy. Today is a good Shomochka day.

AMAZING SP from Shoma tonight! :dance: I know he did the 4T-2T instead of the 4T-3T but he proved that he can rack up the points regardless of doing the highest level combinations! I'm not convinced that Hanyu will be safe from him at Japanese Nationals.

Guys -- I sat by 2 ladies who are skating judges. I asked what they thought of Shomita's short program. They said no under- or pre-rotation. Last spin was phenomenal. Other spin very good but not as good. They loved the way he uses/moves his whole body. I said I thought he slows down too much at one point in the step sequence. They agreed but said as the season goes on he'll probably correct that...And best of all, the black pants look so much better!!!
