Me too. I will miss him in the GPF. Like I wrote, shine (jokingly) accused me of jinxing Nathan, and thinking about it, there is absolutely no skater I want to jinx. As long as Shoma is on the podium I'll be okay with any outcome. And even if he doesn't end up on the podium if he's just not good enough on that day, that's alright. I'm pretty sure the one who wins, will deserve it.

I agree. With his combination of BV and PCS, only Yuzuru can really beat him. Shoma does hold the the second highest total scores for any man other than Yuzuru, and he's done it 2x already. Also if he wants to put the 4S back in (that was actually a pretty jump back in Lombardia), I'm all for it. I'll just light a candle and say a prayer and knock on every piece of wood I can find so that he stays healthy and strong throughout.

The French GP is really showing us that they don't care about it anymore don't they lolll I think we should just move it to Italy from now on (because Shoma always does well there in Lombardia

Latremu, you can trust me I will dance on the table if Shoma wins Gold at the Olympics. I just simply want it to be a fair and wonderful competition that leaves no doubt - and I will also dance on the table if Shoma wins silver or bronze. A win - probably too much to ask. But you know - Shoma not only bought le french ice rink and also owns the GPF before he skated, no, he also used his magic & money to hypnotize the Pyeongchang Mascots last year at 4CC. They have a trigger in their brain and will start to attack his rivals when they enter the Pyeongchang Ice Rink. Such is the magic of the cheeky leprechaun! :dev3:

I can't wait to see this week's GP. Shoma and Javi's showdown will be so much fun to watch.

Haha, I won't change my avatar until this season is over because I love the moment. I see Shoma's blushed rosy cheeks and shy smile too but he changes his attitude on ice and especially eyes which are all magical.

No matter who your favorite is a fair competition is all I would like to see. Of course I would love to see Shoma on the podium but
I don't have a crystal ball to predict the outcome. I usually am very happy for the podium finishers, no matter if they are my favorites
or not for me their happiness is contagious.
I heard from a reliable source that ShoSho's leprechaun has arrived in France with his bag of tricks.

Oh, I thought we were only talking about France.
I agree that I'd just be happy to see him on the podium in the Olympics, and I'd love to see a good competition with minimal splats and pop concerts for everyone. It's always more fun when there are many good contenders. Anyway, the Olympics is just one event (despite all this tension), so I'm happy Shoma keeps saying that the Olympics is not his ultimate goal. Shoma has retained his leprechaun-ness but now obtained the powers of the Winter Prince, so other than his orders for attack to the mascots, he'll also be freezing the brains of the judges when his competitors are performing, and they'll see only him. You cannot underestimate his dastardly plans.
Gosh, the potentials for ice dance! Mai, Marin (although she is a little taller), and I also always thought Satoko would be a good ice dance partner for him! Anyone else?

I love that combo, but ever since Yuzu's injury, watching my faves fall on difficult jumps makes me wince. Stay healthy, Shoma!

He didn't fall, though? I just think that Shoma loves figure skating and loves to jump. That's why we see these combinations he doesn't add to his programs, but does them sometimes in warm up and practice. He loves and enjoys what he does! We don't have to worry. I'm assuming we won't get to see the practices this time, like in Canada, and I'm actually glad about that. I cannot handle watching them.:scard7:And I don't want to think about that ominous ankle injury either.

that's 2A4T combo in the video. still amazing combo. he seems to do that combo a lot in practice and warmup, i wonder if maybe it helps him to make the 4T more consistent like i think he said doing 4F helped stabilise 4T and 4L helped stabilize 4F or if he just likes to do it.
