Some athletes have said that they prefer to stay in a hotel even they live near the venue. They get more easily into the competition mode than staying at home.

Shoma has decided to add the salchow back in to the FS. Here's the planned program components. I just knew it when I saw the picture of him with that paper!!!! His smile was so mischievous. This is going to be one interesting competition! :hpull: :party2: See you all on the other side! I'm off to celebrate Independence Day and then it's a media lockdown for me because I can't watch the competition live. Let's all try to enjoy Shoma's skates as much as we can though I'm sure there are a few nervous wrecks by the time he actually skates :). Shoma is awesome and he can do it. SHOMA go get that GOLD!!!! :hap93: Group hugs for everyone :ghug:

He overslept in Canada too. At least there he had the possible jet lag excuse! :luv17: I wonder how bad his jet lag is in Nagoya. He must just need a lot of sleep -- probably from overtraining and his diet.
 
Hi guys! My puppies are now one month old, I don't need to bottle-feed them every 3-4 hours again. So I have some time for myself now and catch up with figure skating. They are all fat and healthy. I missed you guys, I hope you're all doing great and happy!

Shomachka's bed hair is so cute. How can he get ready in 5 minutes? He just jumped out of bed and rushed to the bus? Must be a world-class athlete's ability.

Even if he didn't overtrain, I think he's a heavy sleeper :laugh: we all have seen those photos of Itsuki eating and Shomachka sleeping in the background.
 
omg that 3A fall was so unexpected I gasped but he just laughed it off! So cute. You did great, Shomachka!!!!
 
Yes. I think he did Yuzuru's mistake in Worlds, he was over 30 seconds from the time he was called to the time he did the opening pose?

shoma's never late. i wonder what happened, even he was surprised he got a 2nd deduction or i think that's what it looks like
