I'm so glad you posted this. I kept wishing people would try to understand what he really felt, rather than trying to make him feel things that he didn't feel. I was thinking at first he was overwhelmed by the Olympics, but that wasn't really it at all! It was more a sense that for him every competition is important, and for some people the Olympics have a huge significance (which is understandable too).

Yep. I understand what Shoma is trying to convey. He will give his full attention to every competition he is in at the moment as in one-competition-at-a-time mindset. And I think caster Sho understood that because he has that same mindset and made sure to let Shoma express fully his sentiments (in his own words). Sho actually has same experiences since he is like the role model overachiever idol (Keio student/graduate while being an idol, caster, rapper/singer, lyricist/composer and part of Japan Tourism ambassador idol group Arashi as well).
 
He's in it for the journey, not the specific destinations. [emoji4]

I have that nice antsy feeling in my gut waiting for Worlds, I know Shoma will do wonderfully so I can't wait to see him!

Since I've only been here since the Olympics, can someone tell me what press coverage is like for Worlds? Will we be getting plenty of pictures and interviews after his programs to know how he feels about his performance, etc? I hope so, I'm missing him too much to not get some good quotes from him :thumbsup:
