While we are waiting for more Shoma news I thought I would post Shoma's 2014 Jr. GPF gold medal
performance in Barcelona. I just love it!
Third after the SP he needed to be almost perfect to win look at the determination on his face. His artistry was a bit sacrificed in the program
to concentrate on the technical side and it worked for him.

What a skate! And the commentary by the Madre Mia twins is so wonderful. They absolutely LOVE this skate. His spins were just so well done and were spot on. He looks SO young! Good job Shomita! Maybe we need more events in Barcelona. It seems to be a lucky place for him.

I assume Shoma is back in Japan even though there has not been a sighting posted on social media yet. And there has not been a quote yet on his reaction to Dai's return. Maybe the media will ask when they are doing promotion for the Ice after next week.
