Well, since Shoma is kind of the main star of the show I don’t think he’ll be able to get out of the jump battle as others would. He’s already doing most of the programs as well, opening, closing, sQuad, pair with Alina and his own program.

The interview with shoma was very long (when u compare with Nathan's) so only part of interview was translated. Will try to show u my crap translation for remaining questions if there is no one do that and when I have time hehe. No matter what, shoma's answer was really nice and showed he sticked to his "core mindset" as always.

Yup, it's just for fun. I don't think they will do their most difficult jumps, the show lights are confusing and we don't want any injury

Well, mura, shoma, satton and kaori participated in the contest (so there is always a Japanese competitor in each bracket). They did 2 jumps and so far shoma was the "most serious one" by doing 2A+4T. (Mura vs boyang: 3A then 4T, Mario: 3A*2)
I guess by "competiting" in this way, slightly more skaters can be involved and it is just for fun!

Awww, they truly are best "buds". Itsuki is SO supportive of him, no matter what they're doing. They seem to have a great relationship. I remember somewhere where Itsuki said they never fight, and I remember thinking "NEVER?!" That's a pretty strong word! How many siblings can say that?! Hope he comes to Chicago with Sho.
