It was nice to read all the nice posts in the last few pages, this thread is so very heartwarming <3 I'll share one thing I like about Shoma too. It's his team spirit.

He looks so worried and emotional there, and I think it's interesting in contrast to how he reacted after his silver medal at the Olys. He really looks like a fan watching the program of their favourites. You can see both how much he is a fan of figure skating and how much he cares about team Japan. You can also see that in the way the first thing he asked Mihoko at worlds was about the 3 spots, and how he thanked Kazuki as soon as he saw him.
There's also this program where he just transcends himself for team Asia, adding a YOLO 4T https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9r_7Zi39aI
Figure skating is an individual sport, but he is never as motivated as when he is a team player (which is a feat, because he always attacks ;) ) It's amazing how much he truly cares and it makes me care for him even more :)

It’s so cute where Shoma imitates Yuzu’s move in the SP while cheering him on.
(I hope no one minds I say “Yuzu” instead of “Yuzuru”)

This might have come up before and you have to dig a bit but..My favorite clip in WTT

It is a clip focused on Yuzu’s LP but around 9:20 there is a recap of the SP the previous day, where you can see Shoma doing a little dance with others to cheer Yuzu and says/does everything trying to make Yuzu feel better.

Around 10:14 Shoma sort of hugs Yuzu (Shoma rarely hugs), Yuzu says thank you and compliments him for the nearly perfect SP (says “Your stability (in performance) is so amazing”) and apologizes for his own. Shoma is very humble and you can tell how much he cares for Yuzu.... so sweet!

And I have never seen him mention that he actually beat Yuzu for the first time at total score at WTT, most probably because it was a “team” effort and not his own. I love that about him too.

It's very hard to post and I'd like to say " I will speak in Japanese ", like Shoma.
Please help gacchan.
Sorry it's not a new subject.
I could just watch the ice on TV, and this is my report.
I went to the ice in Osaka and Nagoya.
Opening Shoma in "Winter" Kakkoii.
Cute Luigi Shoma and funny Shoko. Big surprise and well done.
Mao is the one and only.
Moonlight sonata just wow, Stairway to heaven much better.
Prince Shoma and Princess Alina bitter but sweet and beautiful.
sQuad very cool and too short.
Finale very cute Shoma was singing and dancing Masaru dance.
DJ said "The greatest Shoma Uno", and I agree.
Shoma looked happy, other skaters looked happy, and everyone looked happy too.
I think the ice was the best show for Shoma's fan.

I agree that The Ice was the best show for Shoma fans ^^ All skaters look happy!

Aglae, I think all those team competitions (TCC/ WTT/ JO) show Shoma always try his best in EVERY competition, no matter it is for himself or for the team :-) Also we can see Shoma was very stable in all competitions!
 
So happy to welcome sayaka and jerrymouse. There's so much to share (and love!) about Shomita. Seeing what we have so far of his programs this season, I think we are in for quite a treat. For me, The Ice shows were definitely the best because of the way he took the lead and was featured in so many of the songs. Lombardia is coming really soon. It will really be fun to see how his programs have evolved since he first debuted them.

Shoma, "Bad boy good man" is the program that I definitely won't object you to "recycle" it! (Well, I would say to "refine" or "evolve" rather than "recycle", it sounds like the later one is reusing sth suppose to dump to rubbish bin, but for this Ex prog...it never gets out-date!)

His cantilever as "mini-Shoma" was always lovely, and now his cantilever has evolved as well, more powerful with hand variations etc. :-)
 
 
 
These clips are a fun memory lane, especially his debut season. He really has matured quite a bit since then. And Shomita playing with Plushy... I just wasn't ready!!! :luv17:

That, and combined scores for WTT are not considered. Just SP and LP separately. The what-if scenario wasn't lost on Yuzu though, he's mentioned it.
 
Thx for posting the pics. I'm in WiFi wasteland barely getting a signal so am missing a lot of good stuff. I thought it did look like he got a hair cut. Darn, he hurt the hand a week ago and it's still bandaged...Looks like he still knows how to have fun. Glad Tree kun (Itsuki) was with him.
