Yay, Shoma did a great job, as expected, but I cannot find any YT videos with the sound/original music. There is a video with a different piece of music and Shoma's skate still looked fabulous.

Don't have time to watch the whole replay unless some kind soul can inform me when Shoma skates (too tired & hungry to search for the info, LOL) so I can skip ahead and watch him....

That is an awesome composite of Shoma's programs/costumes, Arriba! Absolutely Shomatastic! It would make a great poster. :luv17:

I'm sure he will do great on the LP as well. Looking forward to watching it with the music!

Correct me but did he only sweep his hand on top of the hair instead of actually running the fingers through the hair? :think: I have bookmarked the video and will go back and re-watch it tomorrow.

I don’t think so. Whenever he is asked about his clothing he always says “it was laid out when I woke up”.

About his running his hand over his head. Compared with the ice show, I noticed there was less time between his starting the gesture and jumping the 3A. It might have been timing, or maybe there’s just shorter time allocated to that element in competition.

What can I say... I am still trying to recover from the dead banana shomatitis. The symptoms I already had got much stronger the moment Shoma appeared on the ice. His 3A entry in SP is simply fatal.
He was nothing short of sensational in the morning training session before SP, then had a good SP. Today his training session did not go so well, though, but there's nothing to worry about, I believe.
His presence on the ice is mesmerizing, his program is one of the best I saw this season. And he is sweet as a person.
I love him.

So glad you've survived (thus far). Look forward to hearing more after the FS and when you have had a chance to recover from being shoomed! He doesn't seem nearly as tired and sleepy as he did last year. He looks to be in great spirits, and his condition looks VERY good. No more ankle problems, hopefully. Nice photos! Thank you! Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I can already see him tomorrow struggling to hold onto gifts, a certificate, flowers, etc. Please give a nice, loud dead banana cheer on our behalf.
