I think I gave him a 5-pack. A lot of good it did! I should have written a note that said "This is your grandmother speaking. Moisturize those poor lips." Oh well, nervous habit!...Hope to see you there!

Typical actions of grandchildren! It is your fault cuz you spoil him with love which is typical behavior for grandmothers. I must admit you seem way to young and sassy for that role. ;)

Speaking of sassy, look at that smile in my new avatar. Doesn't he look like he's full of mischief?! And the sneaky eyes!!! :eekn: :eeking:

Hello all, this is my first time posting. Nice to meet you all!

I have been reading and following this forum since the Winter Olympics, I watched it here and there, but a certain answer from our Winter Prince regarding which Olympic performance he remembers the most (it's Nathan's!) piqued my curiosity to know him more, so I watched his programs and fell in love, and livestreamed the World Championships for the first time to watch him fight for the Japan's three spots (a crash course on why World Championships are important and how the spots are given were done here :sad4:) with all his heart and, well, basically, surrendered to the fact that I will probably love him for the rest of my life

.

Welcome rabidline. You're joining us at a great time. Lots of fun stuff coming up with the new book, the GPF, J-Nats, etc. I was impressed with his answer about Nathan's Olympic program too. I loved that he empathized with him. He has such a good, kind heart...Enjoy posting here along with the rest of us Shomatitis victims.

Arriba and Dani at the same competition oh my, we are going to get some great reports. :yahoo:

Hope you meet up and cheer extra loud together for Shomita and the other skaters! :cheer:

Fingers crossed that GPF will be a great competition!

Ganbarimasu! Will definitely be cheering! While I'm not sure how much of the practices I'm going to catch as I'll be spending some time with an old friend from there who I haven't seen in years (we were fellow Sasha Cohen fanatics back in the day ), I'll be staying at the skaters hotel so I'm hoping for some fun people-watching times too as you never know who's coming and going :cool14:. I'm planning to shop when I get there and do some Wednesday evening arts and crafts to make banners and stuff. Fingers crossed for no disasters :drama: .

So a little less subtle then. :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: See you there!

I forgot which one is the official hotel. Is it the Marriott?

Welcome, rabidline! We need to make some extensions to the ShoSPatal, Dr. Hronop. Everyone keeps getting admitted and staying. No one is getting discharged.

Welcome rabidline to Sho's Fan Fest! Always nice to meet and read another Sho fan.
I am glad you decided to stop lurking and join in the fun here at the DBC!

Welcome to the ShoSPAtal rabidline! So nice to receive more dead bananas (and more if your first post contains such a wonderful response to a "mind-reader"). Hope you have a great time here!

Welcome Rabidline! Three weeks ago I left ShoSPAtal for a few days to attend NHK Trophy, met some DBC members and my Shomatitis was getting even severe since then ;) O

Hello, welcome to the party, not long ago I joined and here is great. You will have a lot of fun, Shoma always gladdens our days.

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone

Loads to look forward in the next few weeks, hopefully it brings a lot of fun to Shoma and of course the DBC :luv17:
Looking forward to cheer for him with all of you!

Hello, everyone.:dance3:
I could buy an anan magazine and a book written by Mr. Tree today.
What a special day for me.
I really like both of them.
Sorry it's difficult for me to explain.
I almost cried when I read Itsuki's book.
Especially Shoma couldn't skate because he injured when he was junior.
And I really want to say thank you to all the Shoma's family, Mihoko-sensei and Machiko-sensei to support him, and Mao to have found him.
I love Shoma all the more.
And I'd like to thank Mr. Tree to write wonderful book.
Please wait for someone summarize the book.:cheer:

Thanks for your report! I have read many tweets saying the content was really touching...So...the sentence at the "Obi" of the book was talking about Shoma at junior?

:sad21: I’m starting to understand what everyone that read the book was talking about today. Being a top athlete means so much sacrifice both from them and their family and coaches. I’m so happy that Sho’s surrounded by so much love and support all the time.
Thanks so much for the report, jerrymouse.

Here’s another beautiful pic I found randomly to brighten up your day :) https://twitter.com/shomaswitch/status/1067650967984881664?s=20
