I'm so sad he is in 6th! I hope he has a beautiful free skate, although even with the fall I just find this short program mesmerizing

Welcome to the FF, thatbeatingheart! And sallyhatchet too. Have fun and post often!

Agree with everyone, yes the SP wasn't as we and Shoma wanted but it's still a great skate nonetheless. FS tomorrow... I hope Shoma stays strong especially now that Japan has missed the ladies podium. Sending all the love and good vibes for the Moonlight Prince!

I was pretty sad yesterday after the 4F fall, it was just such a good skate otherwise. The podium definitely could still be within reach though. I hope Shoma can go into the FS with a good mindset and confidence, and deliver the beautiful Moonlight Sonata that we know he can. I would like to see him end this competition with a smile :)

He's so exciting live, isn't he? Hope you have many more opportunities to see him. I forget, are you going to see the Free?

We have quite a few new patients lately. We'll send the Shambulance for you!...I just watched the program again. Darn that 4F anyway! That was a good skate. It was fiery and he put his heart and soul into the steps and spins. Beautiful 3A, but I have to confess I still miss the hair comb move -- the best transition ever!!!:luv17:

Just stopping by to say that I loved his SP aside from 4F and was surprised by the score. But he’s a really strong competitor so I’m sure he’ll come back in the FS. His skating at 4CCs was really beautiful - hopefully he will match that here.

Last practice for the free. Thank you to Jackie for all the work he does! looks like Sho didn't push really hard during this final practice. Can't wait to see his beautiful program!

Uno: 2A, 3A, 4T(turn), run thru (2S, 4F(hangs on), 4T(hangs on), 4T2T, marked A, 3A1Eu3F(fall), 3A1Eu3F, 3S3T

I watched men’s last group practice.
I’m not sure Shoma’s condition was good or not good.
He talked to Mihoko-sensei sometimes.
He didn’t try so many quads and other jumps but his 4Fs was absolutely beautiful.
And maybe 4S.
He jumped 3A-3EU-3F twice.
First jump, fall like “ 大 “.
Second jump was excellent.
His run through, he didn’t try all the jumps and sometimes he just skated, and went to bar Mihoko.
He didn’t practice until the end of the men’s practice.
I think it was a little bit light practice.
I’m sorry it’s very difficult to explain.

Go Shoma
Believe in yourself.

I feel strangely very calm, I'm praying for our Prince to do his best performance of the season... I just want him to be proud of himself.
You are a fighter, you can do it. I believe in you. Whatever happens tonight we will always be there to support you Shoma.
We love you.

I'd be lying if I say I'm not worried... I really hope Shoma stays strong for the free skate, and is able to end this competition with a clean performance that satisfies him. You can do this Shoma-kun, GANBA!!!!!!

Whatever happens, whatever the results are, I will always support and want the best for him- it weren't his medals or scores that drew me into being his fan, so it doesn't matter at all where he places, what podium streak he has. I just want to watch him continue to skate, improve and grow, like this season where we watched him mature to be an even more beautiful skater and person.

:clapper::clapper::clapper:Good luck Shoma! Do your best and show the world your beautiful Moonlight Sonata! :clapper::clapper::clapper:
