Just woke up. :bed: :hap10: They're starting group two. Have to try to stay awake. Come on Shomajesty. You can do it! Please believe in yourself as much as we do! :ghug: :dbana:

All the best Shoma! Your skating will always be beautiful to me no matter what. Show everyone your passion and heart on the ice!

:ghug: :ghug: :ghug: :ghug: :ghug:

I needed it, and I think Shoma and us needed it.

He'll come back stronger, he always does, and I'm still so, so, proud of him. This season has been an immense journey physically and mentally and he handled it in the most admirable way. I hope he doesn't beat himself up and he knows we're all always here for him no matter what. Please take care and continue moving forward and upward, Shoma!

Worst ending to the worst Worlds ever. I don't really know what to say other than Shoma is still my favorite skater :ghug:

Last time Shoma was not on podium was in 16wc, one month after that in TCC he became the first man in the world to land a 4F in competition, right? Hope he go to WTT this year then he can have his new evolution.

No matter what, love him always!!

I’m exhausted and I’m sad.😭
I expected his podium, but still proud of him.
Ganbatta, Shoma.
I love his skating.
Though I was afraid he felt not home but away, many people was cheering for him.
Well done, Nathan, Yuzu, Vince.
Sorry I hate Pooh shower😱.
I only wish he skates Great Spirits tomorrow.

Aww, I woke up to just see the victory ceremony. :( well, at least it was not Brown on the podium, and I will have to work much harder on generating good vibes.

If anyone can come back from it, it’s Shoma Uno, so 2020, the road ahead.

Now I need to wait for the video to see the full competition.

“I’m kuyashii, yes, but more than that, I just feel disappointed in myself. I have to keep telling myself that I don’t have the ability to compete amongst the top skaters and return with growth.” He said with tears in his eyes.

“I feel hopeless by how weak I am. This made me realize just how weak I am. It’s so embarrassing that this is the performance I give after saying ‘I will win.’”

I hope Shoma will be ok. I noticed he was breathing heavily after the first couple of quads. His skating was still brilliant! Let him be surrounded by loving and supportive people (I hope the media don't go too crazy).

We love you Shoma! :ghug:

I hope it inspires him to make some changes. In order to challenge Nathan he has got
To stabilize his quads and improve his technique on these jumps. Also think about using a different choreographer who puts more one foot skating in his program. I will always love Shoma but I hope he makes some changes.

Hello fellow DBC. I admit I am sad for Shoma, :( but it is what it is. He has had an amazing season and
has overcome injury after injury and gave us that fabulous skate at 4CC. It was unfortunate that the blip had to come at
Worlds in his home country. I hope he does not beat himself up over his result. He did not make the podium but his result
guaranteed Japan 3 spots. :ghug::ghug::ghug:

this is heartbreaking :( Shoma, you are so much stronger than you are giving yourself credit for. For almost 3 seasons, you didn't miss a single podium, even coping with injuries and immense pressures...one rough competition doesn't negate all you've accomplished.

I'm his fan regardless of medals or placements, just hope Shoma will be okay :ghug:

Still love you, Shomita! And you DO have the ability to compete with the top because you've been a threat for every podium for every competition you've entered since becoming a senior, and you've made almost all of them. This may not have been your competition, but I have no doubt it will happen for you one day! You're still amazing!

Oh poor Shoma, this reminds me of his disappointment after the FS at Boston Worlds  He couldn’t be more wrong about being weak — e.g., among other performances, what he did at 4CC on an injured ankle wasn’t weak!!! With his remarkable talent and work ethic, I’m absolutely certain he’ll have his big rewards in the future.

Yeah. I remember both of us at the airport were bummed for him in Boston. Just wanted to give him a big hug. Are you going to try for Montreal, Helen?
