I'm still kind of O.O over the whole thing XD Javi's invited Yuna to his ice show before, Nathan I still can see somehow, but Shoma... and Yuna... feels like they live in two different realities, it's such a surprise to see him in the cast!

So happy to watch Sho and Yuna in the same show! And he’s the first Japanese skater invited? Wow
It looks like he’ll have a very busy off season once again

oatmella, my favorite men too. I still feel bad about the worlds, but he looked happy with the shows. Couldn’t wait. And Korean BBQ, Yay!!

And good luck with WTT, Shoma. In the mean time rest well and have lots of fun!
 
Finally some news! How cool is that! Liza and Sho cantilevering together. I see he is in my favorite costume! Looks like Deniss painted Sho’s face again, why?:noshake:
 
Gosh, I love the Great Spirit.

So, guys, tomorrow, I am gonna try to buy the Skate Canada tickets the moment they go on sale. Chances are this going to be the first year Uno gets assigned somewhere else... but I figure I’d give it a shot on home soil first, and it is in Montreal for the next two years after Kelowna.

Bought my ticket yesterday in a pre-sale. Section 115, Row L, Seat 15. There should have been a pre-sale code, but I didn't see it in the email. I ended up calling 866-514-5050. Please skating gods, let the Prince be there!

I think I saw it on Twitter once, IIRC the photo came from either a fashion website (LOL) or a more gossip-focused website. But... I have to say, the fashion choices of our Prince is never boring as always. Love the sunglasses with the cookie monster track pants combo. Those track pants are my favorite, the googly eyes on his thigh are so cute XD

It will be held on 30 August - 1 September 2019 at KOSE Shin-Yokohama Skate Center.
Also in the tentative cast list aside from Shizuka Arakawa is Daisuke Takahashi, Yuka Sato, Ilya Kulik, and Shae-Lynn Bourne.

FYI, Shoma hasn't posted both ATS and FOI appearance decision in his website (https://shoma-uno.com/) so I think it's worth keeping an eye on before ordering any tickets :)

Edited to update: Shoma's website confirmed his FOI appearance (as well as WTT) so only ATS is not mentioned yet.

The weird coincidence...last night I rewatched Great Spirit a lot then Latremu posted it and I also rewatched the Shoma and Stephane Winter collab (I was in awe again btw, had forgotten how good it was) and now he’s announced for FOI :laugh: Maybe this year we’ll have a Sho and Dai collab? :eeking: I remember that in the interview after FOI last year when Sho said that he had fun with the Winter collab Shizuka said that she’ll think of other collabs for him and I’ve been excited for FOI since then

Thanks for the new pics from SOI Kanazawa, rabidline, can’t wait to see what he’ll skate to this weekend!

And yeah, I kept waiting to see a blog update after Worlds and it makes me sad for some reason that it didn’t happen, I just hope he’s ok

Hahahah I love how DB seems to have a hive mind, the dailyshoom account on Twitter (for your daily Shoma needs) also posted the Winter collab just hours before the Friends on Ice announcement XD Incredible!
 
I wonder if Shoma is maybe waiting for WTT before his next blog post?

Hey, good luck lariko! I'm sure that Kelowna will host a great event (I adore Canada in general)!

I also think that Shoma might go somewhere else next season, also not sure if he will go back to NHK...
It would be cool if he gets Cup of China as he hasn't been there before! :cool:
 
I'm pretty sure the way it works is that the skaters who placed 4-6 at Worlds will not meet up with each other in Grand Prix events. Boyang was 5th and Kolyada was 6th, so most likely Cup of China would want Boyang at their event and Rostelecom would want Kolyada and neither would choose the Prince. That leaves SA, SC, NHK, and IdF. Not sure if he would want SA, so that would leave the other 3. I'd love to be a fly on the wall during the meetings where they decide who goes where. :laugh:
