I want to know soo badly, I have all kinds of wild ideas. And why is it a secret lol I wonder if that means we won’t hear anything about him this off season between the ice shows. Anyway I don’t care where he goes as long as it works out for him
 
If it manages to remain a secret and absolutely no one spills the beans (which is highly unlikely because other skaters and choreographers take pictures with Shoma and post them on social media [emoji1]), we'll probably find out where he went during the interviews for one of the end-of-summer ice shows (either Friends on Ice or The Ice).

This is what intrigues me the most -- where will he go for his "secret" (I love that! :rofl:) training camp. It sounds like some top government or military secret! He was in Montreal for a lengthy period of time last summer, so we'll see. I had heard already last December through the grape vine that he was not coming back to Chicago, and my hope is that he will continue to go to someone for jump training, especially if he hopes to add in the 4Lz. He shouldn't be just practicing that on his own. He needs an expert pair of eyes watching what he is doing! Anthony Liu was the one who worked with him on his 3Lz when he was a junior, but he's one of a very short list of jump experts, IMHO. The time he spent working with Romain Hagenauer last summer seemed like time well spent, and I hope he can possibly work with him again.

We may be in for a very long dry spell during his training, so I hope he takes pity on us :pray: and has The Tree do some Twitter posts! So while I feel a little bit sad :sad4: to not see him up close and personal, I am all for anything that helps him become an even better skater than he already is! :yes2: :hap10: I'm so proud of him and (as always) happy to see that his team has a plan for moving forward. And hopefully Demi-san will be right there with him keeping that ankle in good shape!

Adding -- I would love it if he would "spill the beans" regarding where is going during one of the PIW sessions with the audience, but so many times he doesn't know where they're sending him! :luv17: He just knows he has to show up with his suitcase packed! Ha!

My team Japan biased self is dreaming both of them will be there planning to regain their podium standing in both worlds and gpf.

There was a lot of drama on twitter yesterday mainly bc Shoma was put as the first name in the special category by JSF, he won the JOC Cup for the first time which I guess is a big deal and ISU posted on twt something congratulating skaters who did new kinds of jumps/combos and they used Shoma’s and a couple of other skaters’ pictures instead of someone else. That’s all I’m going to say about it, none of this deserves our attention, some people just can’t stand seeing his achievements
