He's going to have the same programs so I hope he refreshes his national comp with new costumes. We'll soon see. If he only wore the Greek God one once, then I'd be in favor of a repeat for the FS.

I am curious about which costumes he will wear. Will he recycle last seasons costumes or wear something new.

I heard he's gonna wear Uncle Dai's yellow pants. If he does, we'll bake you some gingerbread cookies as consolation.

Fuji TV Twitter account has been releasing previews of JNats competitors every day, and they do this fun thing of "teasing" who they will preview next by posting no-face photos of the skaters the day before.

They teased that tomorrow they'll preview the National champions so here's Team Koko and...... Team Toyota. It's kinda exciting that Shoma has an official teammate in Rika now! That neon jacket looks so good, I love it.



Also: love that Shoma's floofy hair is back. I love the whole soft domestic look he had in Champery, but this is... competition hair things are about to happen!

Sorry that I keep updating! Fuji TV has a special program where they release short videos every day for the next 5 days of the skaters journey towards Nationals with a song of their selection, in which the journey are linked to the lyrics.

Shoma's video was up first yesterday/earlier today, and of course his journey was set to Yonezu Kenshi's "Kanden", same as with other Nats promo materials featuring him.

I reccommend watching it, it's a great video that has some unseen footage, even though you'll need to use Japan VPN as it's geoblocked

Ok, now Tree is teasing us. So Toro-chan and Emma-chan are wearing Christmas costumes. Then we see Sho's costumes hanging there. Is this a costume clue? Tree, you're so mean to us. Gasp. Is that the Greek god costume I see hanging there?! It's hard to tell if it's Moonlight Shomata or Greek god. Looked again and it appears he has the 2 Great Spirits, last year's DOMO and the Greek god. Possibly the Greek god would be for his MOI EX? Moonlight Shomata costume is more blue and has lots of sparklies on the sleeves.

Jumping for joy that the Greek God costume is in contention. I think it's for the EX, too. Is that in January? If his hair is right, that's going to be killer. Merry Christmas to us!

Shoma had his first official practice for Nationals today Not many updates so far but he did give this short comment:
