Just popping in to wish Shoma good luck for tomorrow! He looked at ease during the practice and I hope that he can keep that same feeling going during the competition. I'm looking forward to watching Shoma perform again

I'm super super nervous but glad to see that his practice was good!! Also totally was not expecting him to go for the 4S layout on DOMO - I'm not mentally prepared for that jump again hshdhdjsjkdsh

Happy Holidays everyone!!! And Happy Nationals Day! Sharing all your nervousness and excitement because... can you believe it's been TEN WHOLE MONTHS since we last saw Shoma compete? I can only wish him the best and for him to slay and be happy and satisfied with his skates at Nationals I'm so happy that he's able to compete with his coach and teammates too! In this uncertain world, that alone is already a blessing.

Meanwhile, I have to post him slaying at the draw ceremony. Sexy ass Shoma in his sexy ass suit also in true $homon€¥ fashion I'm pretty sure the clutch he's (sexily) carrying is Louis Vuitton

Some more news from morning practice! First of course the confirmation on today's Grespi costume!! It's been a while since I saw this blue costume, I have missed it





Also it was reported that Shoma did a clean run-through for Grespi



I'm super nervous, but Shoma seems super calm and peaceful and I can't help but relax a bit. Aaaaahhh wishing him all the best today!!! Group hug everyone

Awwww, too bad about the fall on the 4T and no combo afterwards, but I'm glad he can still smile and enjoy the program I was really wanting that 4T3T to happen in competitions though Shoma he was doing them so well in practices and warmups! Not today I guess.

I'm happy that he's still able to smile afterwards. And honestly, he looks good, physically and mentally. Beyond this competition, I think his current competitive approach has improved.

Too bad on the combo. He's a good long program skater, so hopefully he'll have a good skate there. I'm so used to the crowd being louder that it seemed a little bit strange.

It was not a bad first skate after all this time though, not bad at all. Beautiful 4F and 3A, the landings were so smooth. I was soo nervous phew

And I'm super grateful to just be able to see him skate

I have to say, I didn't see myself feeling so peaceful after Shoma made an error in his SP. Yes, it's better if he skated clean (I miss his 4T3T!!!) but he really showed how much he has grown to be able to enjoy the skate even with his nervousness and stay positive even with the error. Hoping things go better tomorrow in the FS for him!

It was a shame about the combo, but I think it was a good skate other than that. I can't imagine what that even felt like to go out there with all the nerves of Nationals, never having done a competition yet this season. I'm sure it made them all super nervous. I think I already said it previously, but he is usually a good free skate guy, so I'm looking forward to the free. I was SO happy to be able to watch the men and the ladies, even though it did mean not going to bed until 6:30 am. After only two hours sleep, a good Christmas nap might be a good idea. Thx so much to everyone who stops by and posts. I always enjoy reading what everyone writes!

Merry Christmas! Shoma let out that nervous sigh at the boards and it was off to the races! He looks like he's in fabulous shape and all in all, that missed combo looked scary when he fell like that but he got right back up and skated his heart out.
Loved this for a first time out and DOMO is going to be more his forte.

So happy to see him and the others skate in front of a warm home crowd.
