Shoma updated his Youtube channel! He's learning English with his manager, the whole thing was so hilarious I can't stop laughing from start to finish 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Learning a new language in your 20s is pretty hard so. Good luck Shoma :LOL::LOL:🥳🥳🥳

Forever Stepffan Lanbeeal. I congratulate anyone who strives to learn a new language. English isn't easy but he seems to have picked up quite a bit while in SWI.Good for him.:cheer:

Please, can we have one of these every day?! :laugh2: Great way to start the day! As a former foreign language teacher, let me just say it is one of the most humbling experiences to learn a new language. Teaching people how to do it is even more humbling! I see some good things here -- I had no idea he knew the alphabet and the sound system. He also seems willing to jump right in and try, even if he makes mistakes. Most people are very fearful and worry about making mistakes. He has a better ear for it than I thought he did. He actually does have a GOAL -- to learn more English. We can wait a while, and then we'll give him the IN or ON test. Oh good! Now maybe we'll get to hear him say "I don't know", "toy poodle" and "I can't do it" more often! You're amazing Shoma! Just keep going! :party2::points:

P.S. I bought a book recently to help me learn French, and I'm having a hard time getting going, just because I know the dedication it takes! I'm praying for IdF next season for him, and Worlds 2022 is in Montpelier, France. So I have a GOAL too!

Two of Shoma's jackets (signed) are being auctioned off for charity (for Japan Olympic Committee). Apparently the bidding has gotten crazy high! I'll be anxious to know the final sale price! Feimeicheng says one was up to 700,000 yen (approximately $6,700 USD!)! :jaw:

The auction has finally ended and... the jackets went for... wait for it... 2,656,000 yen. Around 25,000 USD. Not bad

I have questions.
Did Shoma's mother go to SWI first and Sho followed with his agent/Emma. That was Tree driving him to the train station?

Ok. I got a hint that Sho was learning or had learned more of the language when Stephane told him he did 4 quads at JNats and he said 'I have no memory'. I went whoaaaa.

It's impressive that he knows the alphabet and their sounds so I think our Prince has been working on it in his off time and or at the rink working with Stephane and Koshiro and Deniss. Or he learned in school but is shy about using it.

His agent is a gem. Looking forward to more 'Schooltime with Shoma'.

So I'm not the only one who is confused. Bill was at the airport unloading Sho's suitcases. Emma chan was in the car. That was Tree in a different video (driving), and then Emma was at the train station (I'm assuming with Tree). Huh?! :laugh2:

Perhaps Mrs. Uno was taken to the airport by Mr. Uno and that's when Shoma got out of the car trying to pet Emma through the window. He went home, mom went ahead to SWI.
Then, Tree drove Shoma to train station to catch train to Tokyo and then to the airport w/Emma in tow.

Noticing the lack of any evidence that any of this happened. :slink:

They have arrived! Emma's new toy is cute.

Itsuki's earlier video captions made me think Shoma and his dad went to Tokyo earlier than Emma for work stuff (Mizuno maybe?) and then Emma and his mom joined them in Tokyo (Itsuki drove them to the Nagoya train station) for the flight once the work is done.

That sounds logical. I had heard he had a work commitment but never heard what it was. Once again, it's great to see how the whole family works together. They're such an important part of his success...How sweet is Emma chan with her toy? I hope the Swiss mountain air agrees with her. Look out Switzerland! Crazy Fire 1 & 2 have arrived! 🐩 🇨🇭

Emma was so calm, maybe scared to be alone, but once she saw Shoma...boom. It was nice that Shoma sat with her and calmed her down while on his phone. I'd be interested to see her from here on out once she is used to the rink. Think she'll be a little more frisky.

Good to see to see them and getting settled in and back to Scenes from a Swiss Skating School.
