Out for a nice walk! Emma-chan wants to make friends with a BIG dog! Look at how mesmerized she is. She's so funny!...So we get to see a TINY bit of Shoma skating. Looks like he's working with Angelo.

Some new footage from the Nagoya figure skating festival - Shoma and Yuma doing jumps! Shoma jumped a beautiful 4T3T and 4T1Eu3F. He also did several 4Lo attempts but no luck landing them this time!
(I don't remember seeing him jump the 4T1Eu3F before?)

Interesting info from this week's NOW VOICE. Who is each dog's favorite? I thought Toro was Tree's dog? No wonder he doesn't like it that he's not her #1 favorite. Is Papa / Bill really Emma's favorite, or was he just a substitute for Shoma because Sho was in Switzerland?!

Update on Sho's channel. Endless jumps! Salchows and loops, then axel, and a few toe loops. Good job breaking in the new skates!

I think it's recent! There was a sand storm recently so Champery looked less snowy (thanks Emma for providing important updates )

I was so concentrated on Chef Sho that at first I wondered if the numbers were temperature or a timer. Then I realized it was weight of the food. Wow, they have everything nowadays! Mother's voice sounds so kind.

Soon we will have a You Tube channel "Cooking With the Unos"! They could make all of Sho's favorite dish (SINGULAR) -- niku! In the meantime, it didn't take the detectives long to figure out what kind of scale was in the Uno kitchen!

February 9, 2018 was actually the first time ever I laid eyes on Shoma it was thanks to this tweet from Leslie Jones:



I haven't seen him skate and I didn't even know his name is Shoma Uno at this point, all I can think about is "Is this man wearing actual haute couture pieces for competition? Damn!" Yeah I know now Satomi Ito was the designer but at that moment I really thought that Winter costume was something out of a fashion designer's haute couture collection It was THAT stunning on first sight. I followed Vancouver and Sochi Olympics a little but that was like the first time I saw a figure skating costume like that. And it's worn by a guy!!!

Also: I knew Cristian Siriano since his Project Runway days (when he competed, not acting as a mentor) and that Winter costume did legit look like something he can make

Speaking of haute couture-esque costumes, I will never get enough of this one. It's so stunning in motion:

So very beautiful and calm. I've been to Montreux and the Chillion Castle. Way back years ago on a trip from Austria to the Matterhorn to Montreux and on to Geneva so seeing Emma there brought back nice memories. There was a couple touring the castle while we were there who had two little dogs with them so I'm glad Emma and mama Uno got to see this beautiful place together on a bright, sunny day. And thankful they took us along.
