That looks more like a Matrix convention, instead of a skate order draw.

I really hope Shoma is not downplaying the ankle injury.... as skaters often do with media. His repeating of "pain is no excuse" is making me nervous!

I always enjoy seeing what the prediction thread shows for the competitions. Pretty interesting for this one.
Yuma -- Gold 40, Silver 42, Bronze 35, Off the podium 3
Sho - Gold 39, Silver 43, Bronze 35, Off the podium 2
🐐 - Gold 37, Silver 33, Bronze 51

I just saw that Jackie Wong has Sho for Gold, Yuma for Silver, and the 🐐 for Bronze, although he says it's hard to predict someone's results without having seen their programs...Should be an interesting battle! :points:

Shoma wore a pink shirt today! It looks so good on him!! 😍
The runthrough was a lot better than I expected tbh, he had some trouble with the toe jumps (especially the flip) but he got them down mostly in the runthrough so good job! He landed 4Lo outside of runthrough without much problems so I'm not too worried about that. 4F is now in the first half of the program which is good - the combos do stress me out though hdhdhdhd

The fall on the 3A scared me a bit but he jumped a 4T2T after that so I guess he's fine. Be careful Shoma! Best of luck tomorrow 🙏

I think that’s customary in Japan for the men and women to wear suits for something important like the draw which is very nice. Shoma is tough and he knows what to do so I’m sure he’ll be just fine.

Sometimes they all look like they're going to a funeral! :laugh2: Although they seem to be laughing and in good spirits (usually). I remember some of the Japanese men looking like they couldn't believe their eyes when Nathan showed up for the draw in shorts and a t-shirt. :jaw:

Happy Christmas Eve, all!

Yesterday night I just got back from my travel, and could not catch all! And from the morning, Nationals!

Thanks @Arriba627 , the link works!!! I have tears to see all skaters' passion. Nationals is the holy place for skaters. (Yeah, to wear suits at draw is interesting! unique to JP nats!)

Go Shoma!
