^^^Great to see they were all having so much fun at the Nagoya Festival. I love that event! Seems so non-pressure and fun!

I almost think I'm more excited about the 4T-3T than the 4F, but I'll take them both!!!!....Also very exciting -- Baron's new haircut. He looks so beautiful, but I will miss his wild blue curlers! :rofl:Fortunately, it appears that Demi-san enjoys dogs. I love how the puppies gang up on him when he arrives!
 
Shoma had an open practice yesterday (an official one, I know we have plenty on the puppy channel 😂) - he landed 4S, 4Lo, 4T-3T. It’s great to see how far his 4S and 4Lo have come

Uh oh, Baron at doggie kindergarten?! Kindergarten may never be the same! :biggrin: It could just be to socialize him a little bit or possibly to give him some training.

Sho's jumps are looking really good. I just hope the ankle can be in good condition when it matters most! :pray: Hard to believe the Olys are coming up really soon.

Not sure but if I had to guess it could be where skaters would have to stay in their rooms and only leave for practices and then the competition. Maybe Beijing would want skaters to come at least a week in advance to quarantine.

TEAM JAPAN has been announced today. Shoma is notated as a figure skating team member together with Stephane coach. They will have the ceremony on 29th. So it means, they will leave for Beijing at least after 29th, according to their schedule.

New video with some really nice practice footage at around the last minute of the video! Looks like 4Lo, 4S, 4F, 3A, 4T3T, 4T1T? 2AEu2F??? (Please correct me if I'm wrong) Subtitle near the end says ”He's pushing himself in order to bring back his physical strength." Bring it back, but be safe! 💪 :pray:

Mama Uno was also asking Shoma if he did too much at practice earlier on in the video, but he says no. Seems like a good sign. It also looks like Mama Uno has some type of hand or wrist injury...

^^Last 2 jumps were 4T-2T. It looked a little "off" cos he opened up his shoulder too soon on the 4T. Last was the 3 jump sequence 3A-Eu-3F. Jumps are looking strong with nice, tight air positions and fast rotation.

I had seen this earlier that 🌳was going to be on tv, but I didn't understand why. Here is the explanation.

5 quads?! Wow 😮 he really is going all out. I bet he would attempt to do 6 in the future.

The jumps were 4Lo 4S 4F 3A 4T3T 4T2T 3A1Eu3F! ...Which means a full clean layout! 😄 He opened his shoulder on both 4Ts as he tends to do but still managed to tack on the combos. Good job!
 
I am so excited already! In a week, we are in the flood of information!

First, we have the ceremony of National team on 29th. Figure skating is popular, so there must be a lot of news.

Btw, does anyone know other countries' schedules for Beijing? Olympic public practice schedule has been announced. The official practice for team will start on 27th. So some countries will start leaving for Beijing this week.
 
OK! World standings is announced. He's 10th.
So 3rd order at one group before the final group if 1-9th skaters are there(I am not sure Olympic members). It's great.
And the skater before Shoma is Junfwan. It is also nice. This season, Junfwan has shown great SP, and just the other day, at 4CC, he had brilliant SP, almost 100p. If Junfwan can achieve such a performance, judges will release scores at him.

Gee, that seems so late! The Team Event starts right away, so it seems like they should be there sooner! Oh well, at least they only have a one hour time difference...I haven't heard much about anyone's schedule. I'm finding it hard to believe that 4 years have passed since the last Olys.

Adding: Here's Vincent Zhou on his way. With a 15? 16? hour time difference, some may be leaving early to have a chance to get used to the time.
