I’m sorry, it’s like a my diary.

I went to Shrine and made a wish for Shoma yesterday.
I wrote a message on a wooden board named Ema.
(Not Emma chan but good luck charm⁉️)
4 years ago I did same, and my wish came 50% true, not 100%.

I went to Mizuno store and I could see some good photos today.
Sales person was very friendly and said, “there is a mosaic art Shoma over there.”
I didn’t know why she thought I was a Shoma fan, but I wore UNO muffler.:LOL:
I really love Mizuno escalator.:love:

Love from the puppies, one last ankle treatment, niku and tongue at Sho's favorite restaurant, those amazing strawberries, and a good luck wish from his restaurant friends. Sniff. Lol, I was just about to post this video! I was honestly getting worried about Shoma's ankle condition recently, but it's really heartwarming to see him celebrating and playing video games on his phone. 🥰 He might be playing Yu-Gi-Oh with Keiji, but I will double-check when I have time. What I can say for sure is that the dogs are getting some of that tasty-looking meat too! 😁

I feel emotional too. Because of the bubble system, it's arrive, compete, then return home. No in between hi-jinks. But I bet the competition will be magical from our Maestro!

We have stomachaque, since there is no news of team Japan single about their arrival!
But his youtube makes me relieved. He seems to dispatch tonight. From Japan to Beijing, 2 and a half hours of flight.

Because until Shoma is on the ice, it's so nerve wracking waiting for him to FINALLY be at the Olympics again. Good that Demi-san is going with him. He's ready.

I know I was anxious about him not going sooner but it makes sense that he would practice at home with his therapy in between and get on a short flight with one hour time difference and be ready for official practice and the Team Event (I'm hoping).
 
It looks like Yuzu and Mana aren't travelling with the rest of the group. Some have pointed out the possibility of Yuzu not being able to fly with everyone else because they are taking JAL and there could be sponsorship issues, but it doesn't explain Mana's absence. So basically the only people flying out for the women are the people (likely) doing the team event, which means it might be the same for the men. This also lines up with Japan's sending of TE skaters earlier than just individuals in previous Olympics. So, what I'm trying to say is.... Team Event Shoma?!?

The video made me so emotional. It's been a long four years since I first watched Shoma... it's been such a journey. Seeing him make his way for his second Olympics after all the ups and downs... I don't know why I'm happy and sad at the same time. I'm glad his mom, dad and manager were able to send him off as well (and thanks Mama Uno for uploading the video so quickly). The banners he passed at the end of the video was apparently brought by people representing his sponsor, Mizuno. I'm so glad Shoma is surrounded by so many supportive people 😭😭😭😭

I got the feels too. I couldn't help but think "What would it be like to have a son or a brother, etc. heading off to this world-renowned competition." Waaaaa! :ghug: :console: :pray::drama: I'm sure mom and dad really wish they could go to Beijing too, to see him and support him. It was such a happy, family moment for him last time at the medal ceremony.
