Hi! Newbie here, new to watching figure skating, a Shoma addict since Beijing Olympics. I was instantly drawn in by his artistry, and frankly, good looks 😆. The more I looked him up, the more I have been inspired by his gentle soul, his respect and consideration for others, and how much he has grown and continues to grow as a skater and as a person.

I am so glad to have found this fan fest! Really appreciate all the posts that are so knowledgeable, fun and mature. Thank you for giving me a hit of serotonin every day before I start my work day 😄. Kudos to all of you who maintain such a positive and respectful community, which I think is what Shoma would want for his fans. Thanks again!

Welcome to the Sho Fan Fest! Yes, he is definitely good looking! As the rest of your post suggests, he is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. That's one of the main reasons we all love him so much...So glad you discovered him during the Olympics. We were (and still are) so excited for his bronze medal finish.

You're just in time for the ice show season, which is always fun. Soon it will be time to obsess over new programs, costumes, Grand Prix assignments, etc. We look forward to your posts! Welcome! :jump:

Based on the reports, it is the new SP! He landed 4T, 3S and 1A today, and a 3Lz in the finale. I can't wait for the footage. Gravity is one of my favorite songs and when I think about Shoma skating it, I always thought it's for an EX instead of a SP... Aaaahhh.

Shoma Uno talks about his new SP, John Mayer's Gravity. “I was at a training camp in Switzerland until the other day. I had Stephane Lambiel choreograph it. It's still in progress. The strong and weak tunes are clearly separated as music, I hope to express it as well.”

I attended the first show of PIW today.
Shoma’s new SP was so kakkoii and he was like Stepen. :dbana::dbana::dbana:
I wish to have screamed.
Only I could do was clapping hard and standing ovation.
Can’t wait to watch on TV.

I also like Keiji’s new program.
Thank you very for your beautiful performances.
