The puppies tease us with another program snippet. Thank you to the mofu-mofus. :dbana:Very interesting turns and footwork. You're killing' us Sho.

Here's just the skating clip for those who find the puppies boring. Personally, I always enjoy Pajama Gate. :bed: Last time we had sharks, this time stripes. (puppy music, not program music)

Those steps are intriguing! Thankfully there is never an off-season for Shoma.

Hi folks, have you already seen this?

I've just found it on Youtube, i.e. not watched it by myself, so far. It's a lengthy video (almost 1,5 hours) entitled "The Shoma Uno Movie". Promising.

I watched this video yesterday and, although I knew almost all of Shoma's story, I enjoyed it (despite some issues with the audio). I also discovered all the "internet mistery" I didn't know of (and that I found quite scary) . It's quite long, but it deserves the time.

As much as I love Mathieu Caron, I think I still love Satomi Ito even more. These designs aren't appropriate for Sho IMHO, but they're SO beautiful.
I agree that they're beautiful but completely inappropriate for Shoma. For the fancy pastel idea I mentioned earlier, I would like to see some bold beading, maybe magenta or cobalt blue or even black to contrast with the main pastel color and not make it seem too soft.

Now THIS is the way to start off a week -- with 2 Sho videos! Glad to see Stepen with the niku restaurant's beautiful strawberry cake and the honorary fancy plate. It was definitely the logical thing to unite with Sho for some practices. Can't wait to see the FS debut!

Regarding the movie. I watched it once and will watch it a second time more closely. It is REALLY nice, and I appreciate so much all the work that must have gone into that. I agree with the poster -- Our Shomita, Shomalino, Shomachka, UnO Shoma san, Sho, Masama, Shoma kun, Malyshatina, His Royal Kakkoiiness, the Prince, Shomajesty, Shooms, is indeed an athlete like no other!!!

ADDING:
Yes, you ARE Numero Uno in my heart!!!!!

Hmm, I just watched the movie mentioned earlier (though I skipped over the Great Spirit part... simply because the 2019 JNats version is the only version that exists in my mind 😆). I'm not quite as enthusiastic about it as some of you because there are definitely things to critique about the video (though it is mostly good).

First of all, Shoma wasn't the favorite heading into Worlds this year; I'm sure more people thought Yuma Kagiyama would win. Of course, we Shoma fans held out a lot of hope for him. I met a lot of Shoma fans in Montpellier who genuinely believed he would win. I wasn't sure he would win until the final score appeared and Stéphane hugged him... 😂

Second of all...there's a part where it almost implies that video games caused Shoma's problems. It's generally good about this other than that one part, but the video games were clearly a coping mechanism for deeper issues. I've done some excessive video game playing in my time, I clearly understand how this works. 🤣

I really wish the video could have touched on Shoma's YouTube channel a little. It's such a nice counterpoint to the era of excessive video game playing because of how he opened up to the world and how we got to see a little bit more of the off-ice Shoma with it. That channel (among other things) makes it very clear to me that he has moved on from his previous negative attitudes. 👍

About the videogames stuff, I didn't think that way... I think the issues were already there and gaming was only a mean to endure them and, later on, to express his feelings in the only way he could at that moment.
Fortunately, I agree with you, he seems to be more open and relaxed now (and I guess part of the credit goes to Stephane).
