As always, I really appreciate and wish I had your ability to pick apart and analyze music. Usually I just swoon and faint :dbana: :laugh2: when it comes to Sho's programs. I agree though about his arms. People are so focused on their jumps right now, that there is a lack of attention to upper body details. In particular, lack of proper upper body tension seems prevalent right now. Kenji 's choreo has woven everything together in a stunning way and really "gets" how to make the best use of Shoma's upper body ability of total body movement.

I don't find the transition between the two musics jarring. I love how the change of tempo shows Sho's versatility and ability to "shift gears" quickly. It reminds me of Shoboe in that regard where the music changes quickly.

I have purchased the livestream for next Friday (Saturday 12 pm show in JPN) and was pleasantly surprised that it cost around $25 for the 2-1/2 hour show. I'm really looking forward to it! Hope my stream works ok!
About his arms, you're both right. Shoma is the only male skater that moves them with such a "flow". This is the big difference between, for example, him and Nathan in their collaboration (Nathan is obviously a great skater, but his arms just move in a more "standard" way).

A new Now.Voice from Sho with some fun details about The Ice. They really did receive a LOT of toys for the puppies. Also I would love to know how many hundreds (or is it 1,000s?) of shirts and other clothes he has received over the years! I still have the toy for the puppies I bought to throw on the ice at Worlds 2020 (which got cancelled 2 days before I was supposed to leave).

There are some interesting details in Sho's interview with Akiko Suzuki. Thank you so much for the translation.Yes, he was tired! I'm glad he admits it though and understands his body and recognizes his limits while understanding how to pace himself. 17 year old Shoma would have pushed himself to the brink. Old man Shoma (24?!?!) is wise. I think when he debuts the new FS, it's always a little nerve racking and tires him out by taking a lot out of him emotionally..

^^^Yes, what were those blings?! The others have all been taken down due to copyright. Boo Hoo.

In the meantime, this was fascinating to watch the creative process for Sho and Nate's duet.

The same FS video, but without the "blings" whithin the music.

Beautifully done. It's polished but not boring. Finally a pair of pants that complement the costume top and elongate Shoma's lines. Yes, I'm superficial enough to look at the difference between pants that are crumbled and make Shoma look less than smooth and a pair that complete a look and elevate a program. The top is top level craftsmanship.

I don't find it jarring, too. I like the quietness "before the storm". I also find the two-part structure (calm first, vivid second) similar to Oboe. The entrance into the faster section is an attitude, right (ballet position)? It's like a hop saying "here we go!". :)

I love the attitude move. I also love how he really attacks that last set of spins right along with the music going kind of wild at that point. Very cool! And I hear there's a new move called the Uno Bauer!!!!! :cheer2: :dbana::party2::points:

Hello Shoma fans!

I know you will probably see this eventually as a repost, but Jason is doing his level best to give you Shoma content. This one is adorable

Who can resist Jason's little 1 act plays of fun and antics? We are so fortunate to see them perform but it's not every day that we get to see these endearing episodes. 'Okay, I'm ready'. Epic.
