shoma is probably venisonI also don't eat much meat, lol. I definitely don't think Shoma is a fish; I hear he can't swim very well...but he's a natural on ice!

A clean Gravity!!!!!!!!!!! The score is funny 
but man, that was a skate.
There can be more work done on the elements- yes, @milkgirl , sharing your feelings about the levels here... I think some turns or steps are just not too clear to be counted as fulfillment of Level 4. But don't quote me, I'm not a tech girl But it's good that this program still has a higher ceiling to continue growing. I'm still in awe with its utter chill and languid vibe. It's really unlike any other competition program Shoma has ever done!

Whew, I can breathe now that the short program is over! Always makes me nervous. How about that program though? Wow - just love the patience and the way he takes his time with every little nuance. Even though the short makes me nervous, in this case, I had to go with "experience". Shoma was the only one out of the group who has ever skated in a GPF before.--4 times to be exact, and he medaled all 4 times. Oh, those twizzles -- the speed, the change of hand positions. The smoothness of his skating. The cross rolls.
Happy to see the new Sho banner is already making its way around the world. So, it has been in 2 countries now. I hope Shoma is enjoying seeing it, because I know he sees it! It really stands out.

I'm starting to wonder if it will go to Japan next March... I know I'll be taking my handpainted banner there.
Lots of banners, towels and signs across the stands here
ISU did their best to broadcast them all haha
I feel Shoma got the most support after Daniel, Nikolaj and the two pairs.
He also managed to put in his signature combo

Hi everyone, only a quick drop by after the first day of GPF in Torino.
Shoma was fantastic, from the warm up till the skating, he also landed all the jumps in the six minutes warm up.
Gravity seen live is so much better than seeing it on TV!! It really seems a different program.
All the crowd cheered for Shoma and he seemed quite happy e satisfied at the end. Half of the japanese flags you could see on the screen were held by non-japanese fans
In the next days I'll try to share the video...

I’ve never seen Shoma skate live and probably never will but I feel that his skating and expressiveness with his face and arm movements is just as a strong on TV as it is in person. Whenever I see him skate on TV I get so inspired by him and I can really feel the energy he gives and understand the story he is expressing with his whole body.
