I wondered how everyone found out about the Instagram. Tree posted the news. Love this photo!!! And Sho's girlfriend put the news in her Instagram stories, just so people wouldn't miss it. 15,000 followers in a few hours. Can't wait to see how many by this evening!
What is going on?! Are they trying to kill us today?! LOL.
The first post on the new account also features a Switzerland picture, but it's not recent?I'm wondering if these photos of the lovely baby Toro and the exquisite Emma with Shoma are hints that he's headed to Switzerland soon?
Someone knows how to work a camera from both sides. Delish.
Hello! I last went to Nagoya in 2019, and definitely Nagoya Sports Center and Yakiniku Rion are must visit places for Shoma fans. For Yakiniku Rion, I suggest calling and try to book a table and time from now. It is a bit too early but better safe than be sorry, since it's quite a spot for Shoma fans to visit. Another place to visit is the Jolie Hair&Face aka the famous salon where Shoma goes for groomingI know you guys are excited about the Instagram news (and of course I followed Shoma), but I need a little assistance with my travel plans to Japan...
My travel itinerary from March 15th-21st is basically Tokyo-Nagoya-Kyoto-Osaka-Saitama (and I'll be seeing Worlds there from then on). I'm not sure whether to spend two days in Nagoya or Kyoto. Kyoto seems like it has a lot to see, but it also seems super touristy. Nagoya doesn't have as much to see, but it's Shoma's hometown, so I want to see as much of it and as many places related to him as possible...
The Nagoya Sports Center and Yakiniku Rion are definitely part of my travel plans. Nishimoto Farms is off the beaten path and I would only go there if I had an extra day to spare (also not sure how customs in the US would handle me visiting a strawberry farm, even if I don't bring back any strawberries). The Toyota Museum is far from the city center and I think I would be bored by an automotive museum.Do you guys happen to have any other suggestions for Shoma-related places to see in Japan?
No, it was taken in April 2022 where he visited Champery to learn new choreography for Gravity. The place photographed is Shoma's old place in Champery that he used to stay with his mother in 2020-2021, now he's moved to Koshiro's place. If I remember correctly this visit was with Taichiro Yamakuma and Marin Honda, and well, I can make a good guess as to why Shoma's smile look so natural in that photoThe first post on the new account also features a Switzerland picture, but it's not recent?
He made the right call!He started Instagram because it seems to be a better platform than Twitter. (He's got that right!).
I think it's highly unlikely he will go to Switzerland. If he needs to work on Mea Shomenta, he can work with Kenji Miyamoto in Japan. I hope Stephane will come to Japan a little bit early for Worlds. If they need to work on Gravity, he could do so then. Ghislain is in Japan a lot, so he can work with him on jumps if he needs to.I'm wondering if these photos of the lovely baby Toro and the exquisite Emma with Shoma are hints that he's headed to Switzerland soon?

I wish he would too. Three months is a long time to go without competing. I don't think he will though. He doesn't need the world ranking points, and it seems like it would be risky because of Covid. Plus he doesn't deal with jet lag that well. So it looks like Worlds and (probably?) World Team Trophy (both in Japan---grrrrr!!). Then a zillion Ice shows, all in Japan, of course. Depressing!Do you think he will take part in the Challenge Cup at the end of February? It would be nice.
For many of us, no chance to see him until October or November of next year. Group hug.
Speaking of events, this is interesting. No Russia GP again next year, and no GPF in Orleans, France. Darn. Wonder where the host cities will change to.

Where are you? Never say never. I think they have a hard time getting some of these events hosted, so I'm hoping for some different places to step up. Really disappointed about Orleans. Just like yuumagical said, Worlds in Montpelier was really nice, and France did a good job hosting...I'd love Estonia. I'd do that in a heartbeat.GPF in my country would be amazing but that's never gonna happen![]()
