LOL his comment on Legends. Awww Sho so many of your fans love that program.
For me it was the one program from him at the beginning of his career where I said to myself
this young man is Special!
I feel the same. There was something kind of quirky but cool about Legends. Interesting that in later years, others used that music, but their programs didn't have that same pizzazz and were kind of ordinary. Legends kind of piqued my interest and made me say "Look how that guy uses his whole body when he skates." That was just a small sample of what was to come! Smart coaching team. Great SP for his senior debut.

Speaking of Legends (we were,, weren't we? ), I was cleaning out some old folders of photos and found these of Sho skating his Legends program at Worlds 2016 Boston. Check out the old face! It almost doesn't even look like him! He looks SO young, and he was! They were taken off the Jumbotron, so the clarity isn't so good!

^^^I was just coming here to post the same announcement which appeared on his official site. https://shoma-uno.com/info#1555. I wonder if that means he'll go to Switzerland in April to work on choreo for a new program. Seems early to be thinking about new programs, but I'm sure they plan ahead. I'm always hoping he tries different choreographers, so maybe he'll go elsewhere?

More interesting news -- seems that the. cheering ban is being lifted in Japan. PLEASE, let that mean for Worlds too! Here is the translation from livedoor.com.
It was learned on the 26th that the government is coordinating to effectively lift restrictions on the accommodation of events to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection. It will be possible to cheer and cheer loudly when the house is full. Multiple officials revealed.

This lifting of restrictions appears to be linked to the Japanese government's decision to downgrade the classification of COVID to the status of the seasonal flu on May 8th. It seems that this downgrade will be done in stages, so although it's possible that cheering may be allowed before then (I've already heard crowds cheering during sumo wrestling events), I'm not holding out hope for it. I'm actually quite glad the Japanese government is waiting until May to do this, since many tourists will certainly be coming to see the cherry blossoms in late March...

Here's a little bit of Sho at the beginning of this video. Looks like Baron kun may have a health issue. Am hoping someone will translate the subtitles!

I saw that. I thought it was Shoma’s X-ray for a second. If Baron has a problem with his hips maybe it’s because of all the jumping he and the other pups do around the house. They are constantly jumping off the couch and chairs. Something could have been dislocated or strained pretty bad. It’s common in small dogs when they do that.
