Similar to the situation around NHK, right?

Too long training time in Japan on his own can be dangerous maybe 🤔
This is different, he wasn't injured or carrying an ankle sprain during NHK. I think you mean the condition of his jumps, which he said is similar to when it was before NHK. And also, he went to Switzerland between Japan Nationals and Worlds, it's just he didn't post anything about it.

maybe it was leading up to NHK? But there was some talking about the ankle?
okay, since Nationals is long, they just did not have a lot of time together overall, that's the feeling.

His ankle has been bothering him since 2018. I was there when they carried him off the rink during practice at Milan Worlds. It happens. Calling Demi-san. Quick! To the rescue! Please be ok, Sho.

No, I'm not posting this because it's a great view of Shoma -- gotta love Keegan! Of course, there is Keegan right away if he thinks someone is hurt. He will really be missed if he retires...As a side note, it will be interesting if he finds out that he is related to Shoma (through his mother's side of the family, like 4th or 5th cousin). So, he was helping his cousin up!!!!

I'm devastated :( It just feels so unfair and sad that he has to experience this at home Worlds of all events. Saitama just doesn't seem to be his lucky place... I really wanted him to be able to wrap up his fantastic season with a great and fun competition 😭
I just hope he'll be okay and that he won't be too hard on himself. At this point of his career I do have extra worry over every injury :(

I have not read the most recent posts in this thread, but I just want to encourage everyone here! I was unable to get into the men's practice session this morning because my all-event ticket didn't allow me into the practice rink. However, I was able to take a peek into the practice rink through an open door for a second, and I noticed Shoma skating around in a way that felt very determined to me. I don't know if this was before or after the injury. I feel very hopeful about his condition, particularly because I have a secret source in the Japanese media who told me he was fine. We must remember that some of Shoma's best performances have come during times when he was injured! I truly feel that hope is one of the strongest forces in the world, so I will remain hopeful about Shoma's ability to perform tomorrow. I will also be praying as much as I can, with as many kind intentions as I can. All we can do is hope...so let's send him a lot of hope! :ghug:

Edit: If Shoma wasn't wearing all black, then I might not have seen him... Maybe I got him confused with Kazuki again? 😭

Just getting caught up in the recent news of the Shoma fandom. No matter what happens at Worlds, Shoma will be just fine. What’s the worst that can happen? He either pulls out of the competition or doesn’t do as good. Or the best that can happen is he skates and gets on the podium. We’ll just wait and see tomorrow but he’ll know what to do. He’s got this 👍🏻

i am so upset for Shoma.
Amazing that Keegan is always there to help. What will the skating world do without him?
I hope Shoma can skate well and recuperates fully and quickly... I was looking forward to the men's event but I admit that this has mellowed my enthusiasm.
